Venus Inn Restaurant - Best Restaurant in Bhubaneswar

Do not be fooled by the entrance. Trust this place and the food here. We stopped here for our breakfast on our way to Puri and loved the place. Tried idli, vada, coconut uttappam and Rava dosa. Loved all the dishes. Sambar and chutney were fresh and tasty. But be prepared to taste a slightly sweet sambhar! Not very pricy either. Close proximity to the airport and city centre is an added bonus. Money's worth!

Good value for money. But place can be brighter, it smelled a bit old and dingy. Food was ok, nothing to complain. Happy that they had vegetarian as that can be hard in Odisha.

Loved the dosa. The sambar was a little spicy but hearty. The coconut chutney was great. gulab jamuns are HUGE. Coffee was good

It's a South Indian restaurant. Extremely busy. Quality and quantity of food have gone down drastically over the years. People visit this place for South Indian snacks and meals although other kinds of meals are available ala carte. Prices have gone up and quality... quantity have gone down. It has rooms for rent. I have no idea about the facilities.

1 Star is not even acceptable. Absolutely unacceptable experience. I found a foreign object in my food—it looked like [a peice of thin steel wire object which was stuck in my tounge and then i removed. It could have gone in to my stomach and may cause serious illness]. It was disgusting and completely ruined the meal. When I brought it to the staff's attention, their response was dismissive, and they didn’t even offer a sincere apology or a resolution. This raises serious concerns about the hygiene and food preparation standards of this restaurant. I wouldn’t trust eating here again, and I strongly recommend others think twice before dining at this establishment.

We used only the restaurant. Not staying there. Since the food quality and taste are very good we went trice there. Since our big bus is not allowed in this road, we walked 450 meters every time to reach the hotel. Hotel authorities are very kind enough to serve the customers. Since there is no hotels available on the way to airport from Rajarani Temple, we ordered 30 packets Idly over phone from Airport. They are very kind in accepting the order without collecting the money in advance. We went in auto 4 kms from airport (11 minutes drive) to venus inn and collected food packets in right time. We enjoyed tasty Idly inside the airport. Venus Inn Restaurant is giving very good tasty, good service and hospitality. This Hotel is in busy commercial road. There is no parking place. We didn't use the rest room in the hotel.

This review is about Venus Inn Restaurant. During our Odisha tour, we took breakfast on 16th Oct, 2024 and lunch 17th Oct, 2024. This is a pure vegetarian AC restaurant. It is not on a major road. There are no car parking spaces. The ambience is average. Food taste is average. Rates are reasonable. Service is quick and the staff are courteous and responsive. Wash room (Toilet) is very dirty; Western style toilet seat was very very dirty with blood-like stain.

In our 3 days of trip, we had 4 meals here- the food is impeccable. Fast service, clean ans hygienic venue and authentic flavours.
