Comfortable and homely stay. Caretaker Pappan and staff is very cooperative and always ready to help Food was yummy and fresh thanks to chef Sunil. We enjoyed mouth melting stuff from barbecue. I’ll highly recommend stay for group of families who want peaceful stay at Kasauli

We had an unfortunate experience reaching the resort. The access road was extremely narrow and lacked any signboards, making the journey quite stressful. There were no prior directions or instructions provided by the resort or the sales team, which added to the confusion. Upon arrival, the problems only worsened. There was no power throughout the night, and the rooms were poorly maintained. The dust in the room triggered constant sneezing, and shockingly, one of the beds had broken glass and visible bed bugs. When we raised these concerns with a staff member named Kaur, she responded with a lack of empathy and was argumentative about every issue we mentioned, which was very disappointing. We were traveling with children, yet breakfast was served only at 12 PM. While the kitchen staff were courteous and did their best, it was evident that the resort was completely unprepared for our arrival.

Excellent stay here at Querencia, Alaya Stays. Rooms were spacious and the views are just awesome!!! The service given by Pappan is too good. Must visit place to stay in Kasauli !!!!

Extremely poor service. Not advisable to visit at all. No proper roads and extreme dangerous driving as it's located on hill top and no signboards to property. Driving from the Hills in that narrow road was very dangerous. Bedsheets were not clean and found glass piece on the bed. Customer support was very arrogant as I spoke to Gurpreet over phone and didn't consider that we have small bay of one and half year old. Due to ill health of kids requested to make one day cancellation and was rejected by the property holder. Never book at this place and is not recommended at all

Terribly Managed Stay – Not Worth the Money or the Trouble Our stay at this property was a complete letdown. The rooms were not ready to receive guests — we found insects on the bed and even a piece of broken glass, which was extremely unsafe. Basic amenities like milk for tea or coffee weren’t available. Despite knowing that the nearest town is several kilometers away, the hosts hadn’t stocked up on essential supplies. There was a power cut at 3 a.m., and shockingly, even the generator had no petrol. The caretaker, Papan, had to take fuel from his own bike just to get it running — a situation that could’ve easily been avoided with some basic preparation. There are no proper signboards to guide guests to the property, and no lights outside the building, making it unsafe and unsettling at night. Food was unreasonably expensive — we were charged ₹50 for a single roti. And though this is a hill station resort, hot water was solar-powered and unreliable. With temperatures around 10°C, we were forced to shower in freezing cold water. To make matters worse, breakfast on the first day was served at 11:30 a.m., even though we had clearly mentioned we needed it by 9 a.m. This level of disorganization is simply unacceptable. When we tried to communicate our concerns, the host, Mrs. Jaspreet, disconnected the call and never answered again. Rather than apologizing, she was defensive and offered only lame excuses. Pros: The location is peaceful and cut off from the rest of the world — ideal for those looking to relax and disconnect. The food, although overpriced, was tasty and well-prepared. The caretaker, Papan, was the only redeeming factor — calm, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the chaos. Final Thoughts: Despite the serene setting and good food, the lack of basic hospitality, poor management, and unprofessional behavior from the host made this a frustrating and disappointing experience. I would not recommend staying here unless there are major changes in how the property is run.

We had a great stay @ Alaya Stays Querencia. Booked 5 BHK villa from Alaya Stays website. A warm welcome by Divesh with a welcome drink. View : No doubt this property has wonderful views of mountains. Amazing view. Location: No a great one to reach easily but it has a wonderful view. Service: Great service by Divesh - 5 stars to him. Food: Amazing food but needs order well in advance. Facilities: Karaoke system is available there with mic, you can sing, dance on your own choice of music. Table Tennis and snooker pool table. Books Rooms: Neat and clean. A small 5-10 min trek from rooftop.
