If you're looking for a getaway from the hustles of a tourist place and need to unwind, I would recommend this place. .. We'd booked the tranquil Villas, since we were 2 families and stayed for two nights... spacious rooms and living area ......multiple balconies with stunning views of the misty mountains is a key highlight.. even though they don't have a kitchen, they provide homely food on demand. Reasonably priced and sumptuous..... Mr. Jijo, caretaker is very friendly yet very professional...we even had a barbecue....overall very good experience......

Preferable if going as a big group. As a small family we felt very deserted amidst huge tea plantations. Daily room cleaning wasn't available. Nobody within reach for any queries. Home made Kerala food provided was good, but Rice, curry and the complementary idli dosa were not upto the mark. We had a bitter experience with the travel agent whom they suggested (Surya). Beware of the spots , timings and rates before you confirm. Few metres away they drop off and let us walk down and call it a trek and that costs extra. Very tricky people, just toggle all they say. Kindly record every conversation while u call to enquire. Because of the delayed arrival of cab abt 1hr we missed a main park and had to re-visit it, which they easily mentioned as our fate. For a difference in opinion regarding fare they dropped us off 2kms before our dropping spot, while our kid was still asleep. Worst experience ever. Heartless behaviour and not upto their words. Overall not worth the money

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Udaya Hills Cottages in Wagamon, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! The location is perfect, situated just a short distance from the famous Wagamon Meadows and the serene river, which adds a natural charm to the entire stay. Waking up to the stunning views of lush greenery and the gentle sound of the nearby river was truly refreshing. One of the highlights of our stay was the wonderful campfire experience. Gathered around the fire under a starlit sky, it created the perfect setting for a relaxing evening with friends and family. The atmosphere was peaceful, and it felt like the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. The staff was extremely hospitable and went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable. However, I feel the cottages could benefit from a bit more attention to cleanliness. With a little extra care in this area, the experience would be flawless. Overall, it's still a great place to stay, especially if you want to be close to nature! Highly recommend Udaya Hills Cottages for a relaxing getaway in Wagamon.

I would recommend the suite with mountain view for both couples and bachelors as well as small family . We booked this room for 5 members and we got a master bed , sofa and an extra matress for addition member which is suitable for bachelors. The reason I would highly recommend this particular suite is due to the amazing view as well as a huge spacious balcony for family and friends to have drinks,chill and unwind in the cool climate of vagamon. The sunrise is particularly so beautiful that it would be a romantic moment for couples . This particular suite contains one bedroom (with a mini fridge to cool your drinks) , A guest room with sofa as well as a dining table , and a single luxurious bathroom with amazing 5 star worth of designery. The caretaker who is an all in all (manages the entire rooms from cooking to cleaning all alone) was such an amazing host that he helped us till the end and provided an amazing service . He also set us up with a chicken grill at night which was quite tasty. I would highly recommend this resort as well as this particular suite to anyone who is looking forward to unwind and chill after the long travels covering vagamon. I would also recommend you to call them directly to book rather than relying on the internet through various website since these online services cuts taxes hence always end up being pricey than the offline rate . Rooms and location is good but for food dont depend on the care taker. He never comes with correct quantity and food also not that gud.

Lovely property situated in a beautiful location in Vagamon. The staff and owner are very friendly, and the rooms are nice and comfortable.
