Tamarind Villa

I really loved this place. It's close to Odayam beach and Verkala cliff is almost 15 mins away. The owner is very good and trustworthy. Even the housekeeping staff is very helpful and promptly does what is needed to ensure a pleasant stay. It has a decent swimming pool which can be used for group partying and chilling. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Overall experience is good, rooms are huge but bed size is 5X6 only. Service is also good. Doesn't provide dinner, Breakfast is fine.

Very very bad experience.. While booking we asked for Ana petit, he told it’s available and after payment of advance amount the message we received for TAMARIND VILLA, these both properties were near so we didn’t create any issue and went there. We reached around 4PM they don’t have proper entrance and our car was hit under while entering the parking the person incharge didn’t care anything for that and simply sitting, so I went and asked our car can’t able to enter your parking any alternate was there, but no reply from him.. Again I asked whether we can park outside of your premises he called someone and said ok.. Paying this amount and we parked outside of the premises. In our room fan was not working so only option was AC. That ac too was moulded and water was spilling inside the room on the dressing table. Because of that my daughter got wheezing and when return back from Varkala we straight went to hospital. So worst didn’t care about people staying there. Night we asked for breakfast he told for adult Rs.150 and kids Rs.100 for 3 bread one omelette (with very less onion) and fruits ( 5 small cube watermelon and 1 small banana). Morning for that also the person incharge created a big scene there. He used the word complementary when I asked for explanation he was raising his voice for that if we raise again he can’t tolerate that.. So money minded lot of good resorts nearby by please avoid this junk

This property is great value for money. Located at a 5 mins walk to the Odayam Beach, and 20 mins walk to the main Varkala beach. The pool is nice for a dip and the rooms are comfortable, clean, and spacious (Exactly as shown in the pictures). They serve a simple and wholesome breakfast in the morning. Ample parking space. I enjoyed my stay here.

Tamarind Villa is the best place to stay near odayam beach in Varkala. Nothing to say new than the other reviewers, their behavior and assistance in each and every requirements from arranging a scooty or a cab or explain about the route how we can reach the nearby spots everything was appreciable. They provided very good malayalam breakfast also when we required. Overall it's the best stay in that area.

We had 2 days stay @ this place . Very bad hospitality . Lots of Cats they roam inside and disturb our foods. Cats stay in between our legs while we sit and eat even in the outside restaurant. Very much annoying.

I will definitely come again for a longer stay. The location 2 minutes from a very quiet beach. The service is excellent, and they treat you like family. I went with my mother and we had the BEST time. Would highly recommend.
