Excellent stay food was top notch service was good, peace full stay for family

We had a staycation at this resort and overall, the resort ambience and atmosphere were quite good. The surroundings were pleasant, peaceful, and relaxing, making it a nice place to unwind.However, the management and service were disappointing. The staff did not seem very hospitable or attentive, and the overall service experience could definitely be improved. The management also seemed poorly coordinated at times. The food was average, and the chef and overall food quality did not meet our expectations. With better hospitality, more efficient management, and improved food quality, the resort could provide a much better guest experience. Overall, the ambience and atmosphere were good, but the service and management need significant improvement.The food was average, and the overall quality did not meet our expectations. The candlelight dinner was particularly disappointing and felt very poorly arranged. It did not have the ambience, presentation, or service we expected from a resort staycation, and unfortunately, it turned out to be a very unpleasant part of the experience.

Monarda Resort is located at a distance of around 15 km from Kalpetta, administrative headquarters of Wayanad. Spread over an area of around 3 acre, the location is very peaceful, surrounded by nature. Cottages are well furnished with all the amenities including Wi-Fi. Restaurant service is at nascent stage but offers excellent food at a very reasonable rate though veg options are limited. Caretaker Mr. Sedwin Antony is extremely courteous, well mannered and extends warm hospitality. They have sports equipment for badminton, TT, Carrom and a swimming pool which is a children's delight. Banasura Sagar Dam is located at a distance of 8 km/20 mins from the resort. However, it takes nearly 1 hour (38 km) to reach Eddakal Caves. Had a wonderful stay for 2 days on October 14-15.

Monarda Resort was the perfect getaway for our family! The resort was peaceful, well-maintained, and the staff made us feel completely at home. A huge shoutout to Chef Santosh — the food was absolutely incredible! From breakfast to dinner, every dish was fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. My kid loved the meals just as much as we did, which is always a great sign! If you're planning a family trip and want a place with great hospitality and even better food, Monarda Resort is your answer. Thank you, Chef Santosh, for making our meals truly unforgettable!

I had a wonderful stay at Monarda Resort, Wayanad. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained, making it a perfect place to relax. The staff were courteous and always ready to help. A special thanks to Sebin Antony for his outstanding service. He was friendly, attentive, and ensured that our stay was comfortable from start to finish. His hospitality truly made our experience even more enjoyable.
