Cocoon valley Villa Vagamon

We stayed at this property on 25th January. The rooms are spacious and offer a good view, but the service is absolutely pathetic. Our check-in time was 2:00 PM, and we arrived around 4:00 PM, yet one of the rooms was still not cleaned. The water in all the washrooms was yellow in color. We informed the caretaker, but even after they attempted to fix the issue, there was no improvement. We had no option but to adjust by not taking a bath and using bottled water instead. For dinner, we had to travel nearly 5 km one way to find a hotel. Although they claimed the caretaker would arrange delivery, we decided to go ourselves as we had no trust in their service. The complimentary breakfast was a complete mess. They took our order but delivered whatever food they managed to get from a hotel. Unfortunately, all of us fell sick with stomach upset, which made our return journey miserable. Overall, a disappointing experience.We do not recommend this property to anyone.

Never ever book this property! To be honest the only plus is their infrastructure which is good. But just with that we cannot enjoy the stay. Even though a place is not luxurious still we can have good memories if the service is good. But here service can't be even rated 1 as it was horrible. I read multiple reviews were people stated that the towels werent provided, rooms were not cleaned, used cups, tea set etc were still there in room and to our surprise it was all the same when we stayed on jan 25th 2026. So this is not a miss that happened, this is how they handle these basic things, they consistently fails to do basic cleaning which shows complete ignorance towards customers wellbeing and in acknowledging the feedback. Water was yellow and after complaining the care taker said he fixed it by connecting a different tank but the issue persisted. They are not even cleaning the tank properly. We used mineral bottles for our needs. And the food! we have no idea from where they manage to get it. We gave proper count and the food items for breakfast from the options they provided but they just brought multiple items from different hotels as they could manage and all of us got food poisoning, even for our kids. Care taker was completely ignorant to fix the issues that we mentioned and with the repeated negative reviews, i dont think the owner really bothers anymore on this so complaining to owner is of no use. Never ever book this place even as your last choice. If you could not find any stay during your planned vacation, then just drop the plan rather than booking this as the last option This stay can never be suggested at any circumstances
