Ekostay Chestnut Villa

I recently visited this villa with a group of friends. The villa was spacious, beautifully maintained, and had a perfect balance of luxury and comfort. The views were breathtaking, and the pool was a great spot to relax. We had an unforgettable time, and I would highly recommend this villa for anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

This place is extremely over rated. The actual place is very different from the photos put by the property. Location pin on Google maps is incorrect, the property does not have any lake view as it is on the opposite side of the road and there is another bungalow and trees blocking the view (check the photo - the lake is beyond those trees). Cleanliness is a big problem at this property, with cigarettes stubbed all over the lawn. More than half of the lights in the lawn area don't turn on. The care takers have made absurd rules around pool usage. They did not allow us to use the pool on the day of checkout in the morning. They also did not provide sufficient towels. The only saving grace is that the food was good. I would absolutely not recommend this property, despite the cheap rates

*Disappointing Experience* Rating: 1/5 Our stay was marred by several issues. While the caretaker and cook were initially welcoming, their true intentions soon became apparent. *Major Concerns:* 1. Food quality was average at best. 2. The caretaker and cook attempted to loot us by taking a ₹10,000 deposit and making it difficult to refund. 3. Lack of hospitality and basic amenities, such as a water purifier. 4. The barbecue was not arranged at the scheduled time. 5. Pool timings were inflexible, and we were barred from using it on the checkout day. *Unpleasant Checkout Experience* The checkout process was stressful due to the staff's uncooperative attitude regarding the deposit refund. *Advice to Future Guests:* Be cautious of the deposit policy and clarify all amenities before booking. Verify the barbecue and pool timings to avoid disappointment.

Extremely disappointed with our stay at Ekostay Chestnut Villa. We paid a premium for the villa, but the staff's attitude was absolutely unacceptable. They were rude, uncooperative, and the service was pathetic. Cleanliness was also a major issue. The refundable deposit scam was the cherry on top — ₹10,000 held for no reason, and they refused to refund it at first. Not worth the price. Just don’t go with the other reviews it’s all a scam and paid reviews. I would really I mean really suggest not to take this villa. Really pathetic people and service.

We stayed at Ekostay Chestnut Villa for a weekend, and it was a huge disappointment. While the villa itself is nice, the service is terrible. The villa had few issues too.Few of them being like acs on rooms in 1st floor worked partially only, no ac in living room making it impossible to sit during the sept season, and lastly water flow was so slow we had to skip bathing in one of the 1st floor master bedrooms, the bathroom geyser also was not working very well.The staff was rude, and the cleanliness was below standard. We paid a high price for the stay, the staff was reluctant to have our items put in their kitchen fridge too and was not at all cooperative for any help we required, only the caretaker was the person who was atleast listening to our requests but again was overpowered by the other people in the house working there,On top of that, they charged us ₹10,000 as a refundable deposit and didn’t want to return it at checkout, the towels were not provided on time which delayed the checkout further and we were said if there is a further 1 min delay over 12pm will be charged extra and the attitude was very unprofessional. They banged the door on our face during checkout. Never staying here again.

We stayed at Ekostay Chestnut Villa with high hopes, but the poor service ruined it all. The villa looks nice, but the staff was extremely unhelpful and impolite. The food quality was below average, and cleanliness was lacking. They charged ₹10,000 as a refundable deposit and tried not to return it due to a minor delay at checkout. Will never stay here again.

Ekostay Chestnut Villa is not worth the premium price. The villa might look good on the surface, but the staff ruined our entire experience. They were unprofessional and treated us as if they were doing us a favor by even being there. Food was bland, and the cleanliness was awful. The extra ₹10k refundable deposit was held over us at checkout for the smallest of reasons. Terrible experience.

We went to Ekostay Chestnut Villa hoping for a fun staycation, but the service was atrocious. The staff was rude and didn’t care about our requests, especially when it came to food quality. We had to deal with poor cleanliness, missing toiletries, and they even held our refundable deposit hostage at checkout. For the price, this place was a total disappointment. Would not recommend it.The care taker was very Co-operative but other staff were very rude after every 2mins they were pushing us to have brkfast and leave…don’t ever book this villa even
