Ekostay Tropicana Villas (AUM)

Our overall experience was excellent! The property has a beautiful aesthetic vibe — clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. Caretaker Rajesh and Manager Shifa Khan were truly on their toes throughout our stay — professional, polite, and extremely helpful. Their attention to detail and hospitality made our experience even better. Highly recommended!

The photos doesnt match the property at all . Very bad service and the owner doesn’t even talk properly to clients. No cleanliness at all. Kitchen has fungus on the walls , rooms are filled with mosquitoes and the pool size is so small only 3/4 people can use it at a time. Not advisable to visit it Very very bad villa 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Swimming pool was not at all clean. Care taker was very rude. He was invading our privacy too . Rooms were disgusting. There were many cockroaches all over in the villa also on the bed which was disgusting. It was not worth paying so much for such a disgusting villa.

The villa is good, rooms are clean There is pest issue The pool isn’t up to the mark also heavy chlorinated Worst of all is the caretaker!!! From invasion of privacy, barging into our rooms to fighting over unnecessary stuff like paying the deposit only when we are fully outside the villa. The caretaker has no sense of communication!!

Our experience at Tropicana Villa was quite disappointing. The photos shared during booking were very misleading, and the actual condition of the villa did not match expectations. The pool is extremely small, barely enough for 3-4 people, which is unacceptable given the price. The ACs were another major issue — only one worked properly, while the rest were practically useless. There is no outdoor space, and the villa’s exterior is poorly maintained, which really takes away from the overall vibe. On a positive note, the indoor bedrooms were relatively better maintained, and caretaker Rajesh was very helpful and kind, which was the only saving grace of our stay. Overall, not worth the price, and would not recommend unless the property is renovated and better maintained.

If google had a negative rating then i would have given it that. Save your money & go to any other place. This place is poorly maintained, unhygienic, and lacks even the most basic standards of hospitality. Definitely not suitable for families, friends or anyone looking for a peaceful & clean stay. Extremely Disappointing Experience Our 2 night stay at Ekostay Tropicana Villa was very dissatisfing & underwhelming. Don't go on the pics, pool is very small. The swimming pool was dirty when we arrived & they did not change the water or cleaned it properly. The bathrooms had a foul odor, flush weren't working. For the first time we got to know they have a rule that they can't go upstairs to clean so the upper rooms or the bathroom weren’t cleaned even once during our stay. The speaker or tv was not working. They did not have any game which they mentioned in the list except carrom available. The villa floors were mopped but not cleaned properly. Water stayed on the floor there for a super long time. Floor mops were also not cleaned. The staircase had a water leak problem & a large pool of water was formed near it. It was difficult to go up & down The kitchen was a different story all together. They had a very dirty sink & tiles in the kitchen had horrible dirt. The microwave was also very unhygienic & not cleaned properly. The fridge was not working properly & had water logged inside it. Headboards were dusty & had not been cleaned properly. So much dirt & waste was lying under the bed & other furniture. Cockroaches were found in several places inside the microwave, under furniture, and around the kitchen. We had to order paper plates & cutlery along with our food as we were terrified to use their utensils as the place was so unhygienic. Maindoor had a horrible lock & can't be safely locked from inside which was a major safety issue. Ongoing construction work nearby made it very noisy. Dustbins were never cleared. Poor Management and Accountability on the grounds of hygiene, safety & hospitality. They claimed the property is cleaned before every new guest, but our experience clearly said otherwise. Definitely not recommending it to anyone.

Our stay at Ekostay Tropicana Shivaay, Lonavala was nothing short of a nightmare. Don’t be fooled by the photos as they are highly deceptive. The property is filthy and poorly maintained: the oven was unusable, the refrigerator leaked constantly, floors were wet due to a store room leak, and the gas stove barely worked. The pool was tiny and unclean, towels were visibly dirty, and the bedsheets reeked of a foul smell. Washrooms were disgusting, and we even saw cockroaches crawling in both the bathroom and the ground floor bedroom. A staff member did show up once asking if we had complaints - we shared everything, and he said someone would come clean. No one ever showed up. The caretaker was rude and arrogant, and they follow a military-style checkout policy with zero empathy even though we were traveling with a 6-month-old baby and clearly suffering due to the unhygienic and uncomfortable conditions. Avoid this place at all costs. It’s a scam in the name of a villa stay.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend Our 4-night, 5-day stay at Ecostay Tropicana Villa Aum was extremely underwhelming and frustrating. Here’s a breakdown of what went wrong: Unhygienic Pool: The swimming pool was dirty from day one, and even after multiple follow-ups, the water was never cleaned or replaced. We were informed it’s only done once a week—unacceptable for longer stays. Lack of Cleanliness: The bathrooms had a persistent foul odor and weren’t cleaned even once during our stay. The sofas were in awful shape—torn fabric, dirty surfaces, and flattened cushions. The villa floors were never mopped. Cockroaches were found in several places—inside the microwave, under furniture, and around the kitchen. Fruit flies were everywhere. We ended up paying ₹2000 to a caretaker from a neighboring villa just to get the place cleaned. No On-Site Support: There was no caretaker available for three nights. We weren’t even provided with keys and had to climb in through the kitchen window. Repeated attempts to contact the caretaker, the owner, and the regional head were met with silence. Disturbing Night Experiences: We encountered eerie disturbances at night, including what felt like the sound or presence of a child moving around the villa—extremely unsettling and added to the discomfort. Unhygienic and Unsafe Conditions: Ongoing construction work nearby made it noisy and chaotic. The kitchen was crawling with cockroaches, and used toiletries were left behind. Dustbins were never cleared. Poor Management and Accountability: Despite having surveillance systems, the management was completely unresponsive. They claimed the property is cleaned before every new guest, but our experience clearly said otherwise. Final Verdict: This place is poorly maintained, unhygienic, and lacks even the most basic standards of hospitality. Definitely not suitable for families or anyone looking for a peaceful, clean stay. Save your money and avoid this property.
