We had an amazing experience at Asanjo Villa for our family get-together with a group of 18-20 people. The villa had a wonderful vibe—safe, spacious, and well-maintained, making it perfect for families. The ambiance was cozy yet lively, allowing everyone to relax and enjoy.

Terrible terrible experience! Extremely money minded and not cordial owner, Nitesh Gurnani. The location is not in a safe place, unsafe for women as nothing is around, literally nothing. The bathrooms were stinking so bad of sewage. The photos that the owner but we’re all rosy but in reality it’s a horrible villa. Games room is given to his staff to sleep and use everyday. The pool is always dirty and water is bad like mentioned. Food that was cooked by the staff was good. Staff is extremely sweet, friendly and helpful. Don’t just go on the view and pictures that the owner has put. See the reality on what we have put.

I had an extremely disappointing experience during my stay. Several issues made it unacceptable. 1. Location: The property is far from any hospitals or medical facilities, making it highly inconvenient and unsafe in case of emergencies. 2. Food Options: There were no dining options available, leaving us with no choice but to look elsewhere for meals. 3. Cleanliness: The rooms were dirty, with broken accessories in both the bathrooms and bedrooms. 4. Pool: The pool was in a terrible state—filthy and emitting a foul smell, making it completely unusable. This experience fell far below expectations, and I would not recommend it to anyone seeking a safe and comfortable stay.

There are no hospitals nearby, and while we have our moms with us, it’s extremely concerning that in case of even a minor emergency, finding a doctor is nearly impossible. Additionally, there are no accessible food items available in the vicinity. The rooms were not clean, and many accessories in both the bathrooms and the rooms were broken. To make matters worse, the pool was unclean and had a foul odor, which was highly disappointing.

WOULD NOT RECCOMEND, Unacceptably Bad Service and Standards We had a family stay at Asanjo Villa for 2 Nights in the start of November, and while the rooms and villa itself were lovely and looked as advertised, the stay was NOT an experience we could recommend to anyone. Hygiene and Luxury: StayVista’s supposed “luxury” was nowhere to be seen in the details, with more than 5 chipped utensils, multiple leaky taps, no shower curtains and terrible sanitation in the bathrooms as they were constantly filled with bugs and creatures – since it is located in a jungle, you would think they would be more careful of this at the high price they’re charging. In fact, the wash basin pipe in one of the bathrooms was not linked to a drain but left in the open shower area, leading to a mess. Food: This was the biggest disappointment. Despite pre-booking meals, Paneer Kadhai was missing at one of the lunches and Chicken Pahadi was missing at the barbeque. This was not the worst for the barbeque, as the Tandoori Chicken was both undercooked and the outside was burnt while the Aloo was also burnt and far too dry. In another meal, the Veg Soup and Dry Chicken were sent after the rest of the meal had been finished, so it was basically a waste. The Rice, Noodles and Gulab Jamun were also not up to the mark. The cleaning and caretaking staff were new and inexperienced, but they were polite and genuine. The owners clearly had not provided them the required training, so I don’t blame them for these issues, but rather StayVista overpromising and underdelivering. The cook however was quite rude as well. On top of all this, once the payment was completed on the first evening, we could contact with Naineshwar (StayVista representative) as he refused to answer the phone or respond to messages to solve these issues. While he mentioned a health issue and that is completely understandable, another contact should have been assigned in his place. The organisation and experience were unacceptable, especially at the high price for the very rough jungle location, and StayVista did not fulfil any of their promises for a luxury stay.

We had stayed at this property for one night. This villa big enough to accommodate around 25-30 people comfortably. Every room is spacious and well designed. The food served here was the highlight, it was super delicious. The view from the villa is also amazing especially in the monsoons.

Hi, Thank you for your reply to one of our reviews. I wanted to reply to what you mentioned earlier. It's extremely funny how you just assumed that we have all the time to sit and edit your villa images just to show you down. That's not our intent, we gave a feedback so that you can do better. If you can't take a feedback well from the experience we had during our stay in your villa then I don't think you should be giving it up for short visits, instead of blaming them with false accusations. I'm infact glad you checked the CCTV's becuase i hope you saw the exact condotion of your house. We aren't jobless to edit pictures and post. And agreed to the policies you have which is why we didn't argue much when Mr. Nitesh Gurnani cut the drivers food amount from our deposit. We just wanted to point out how there is no humanity and how he's only concerned about money. If 15 people worth of food is anyway being thrown in the dustbin in front of our eyes, which you may have also caught on CCTV, then why not feed the drivers too from the food cooked for us. It's not even like we asked for separate food to be cooked. We didn't complain the entire trip because there were so many things and your staff was getting exhausted. The only people who went in the pool werettwo kids, a 5 year old and a 7 year old, and that too only legs dipped till their knees, so please the CCTV properly instead of replying false things on google, and rather check the entire house for maintainece including the water. And for the ones who believe that we edited the images, please go ahead and book the place at your own risk and if you have the money to just go see the actual condition of the place unless now they maintain it and change it after the review we gave with REAL pictures.

Good spacious property with an amazing view. Ravi Gurnani, the owner was very approachable for all our queries and issues. Caretaker were friendly. Good food especially North Indian and Barbeque, other cuisines were avoidable. Overall cleanliness was fine but there was some scope for improvement. The location is slightly remote. We took about 4.5 hrs from Mumbai, but the view was worth the travel.
