Cholai Resorts

I recently stayed at Elite in Cholai Resorts by Bestinn Leisure, and while the property has great potential, my experience was quite mixed. The room interiors are beautifully designed in traditional Chettinadu style, giving a rich cultural vibe that immediately makes you feel connected to the heritage of the region. The furniture, especially the sofa seating, was comfortable and the room itself was spacious enough to accommodate an extra bed without feeling cramped. The outside seating arrangement was a pleasant addition, and the swing placed outside the room added a touch of charm at first glance. However, the positives unfortunately ended there. The swing was poorly maintained and not properly chained. One of my friends actually fell and got hurt because of this negligence, which really highlighted the resort’s lack of attention to safety and upkeep. For a place of this standard, such issues should not be overlooked. Another major disappointment was the service quality. We had specifically requested an extra bed for the room, but despite multiple reminders, the staff failed to provide it on time. We had to ask twice more before they finally handed it over, and to our surprise, we were left to carry the bed into the room ourselves. This level of service is far below expectations, especially considering the pricing of the room, which I found to be on the higher side compared to the quality offered. In summary, while the resort scores points for its traditional design and spacious interiors, it fails badly in terms of maintenance and service standards. For the price charged, guests deserve much better care and attention. Unless improvements are made, I would hesitate to recommend it to others.

Very bad experience, none of the amenities advertised were unavailable. Pool was very dirty and was in unusable condition. Unusable garden place, broken trampoline. Very poorly maintained property. No one available at the property for assistance. They close the gate at 9:30PM without any information and guests cannot go inside or come out till the next morning. Food, very important for people travelling with children - there is no food, tea or coffee available inside or near the hotel. They don't even provide a kettle. Rooms - AC was not working and there was no one to assist. This is more like a lodge than a resort.

I stayed in this property recently with our family it was such a nice stay it was neat, child-friendly and the services. On whole it is worth the stay

Its surrounded by Lovely Nature, Very Quiet, Comfortable Stay. Nature Lovers will like to Visit Again & Again. Rooms r Lovely. All around Surrounded by Beautiful Nature. Good & Very Polite Service.
