Had a horrible experience, which i never had after travelling to any place in world, the lady was so rude, she doesn't know how to talk to the guest, also she was asking to make payment to her personal number before reaching to the resort although the booking was made online, and she had alot of attitude issues, her husband was nice and he knows how to treat guest with respect and smile, but she will not let him handle anything, i immediatly asked to return my money by speaking to her for 5-10mints after reaching, also pls read the replies which has been provided to guest who has given low rating, you will understand by reading the response to guest, would not recommend anyone to stay there. the worst experience of lifetime.

When we called the staff to ask about a late check-in, they initially agreed to accept us at 9:15 PM. However, our booking was for less than ₹1500, while their direct rate was ₹3000. At first, they didn't understand our booking price. During the call, they told us to check in directly for ₹3000. When I explained we were getting it for half price through our booking, they said they don't even offer that rate. They asked us to confirm which price worked for us and said they had no issues. But later, after realizing our rate, they called back and refused to allow check-in after 7:15 PM. We are traveling from Chettinad by car and there's no way we can reach before then. This is very poor customer service and we are totally disappointed.

I was a bit unsure while booking this stay because I had come across some mixed reviews. It’s true that the owner lady wasn’t very polite, but apart from that, the stay and hospitality were actually quite good. If you’re visiting Pondicherry and looking for a peaceful place away from the usual noise, Villa Ana Pondi is a good option. The property has a beautiful swimming pool and a calm garden view, perfect for relaxing and chilling. The rooms are very thoughtfully curated, which adds to the overall comfort and experience. Serenity Beach is just a 10-minute walk, which is definitely a plus. Finding the place can be a bit tricky if you’re traveling by four-wheeler, as the maps aren’t very clear, but it’s much easier with a two-wheeler. One of the other owners was very friendly, and the hospitality overall was great. Breakfast was included, though the options were limited and mostly South Indian dishes. Overall, it was a good experience, especially if you’re looking for a quiet and relaxed stay in Pondicherry.

Initially, when I spoke with the owner ma’am, she came across as a little strict. However, that impression completely changed when we reached Pondicherry early in the morning. She was extremely supportive and allowed us an early check-in at 7:30 AM without any additional cost, which we truly appreciated. The villa itself was beautiful. The area could be a slight concern since it’s close to the fishermen’s coast—especially if you’re arriving by car—but apart from that, everything was great. The villa is very well maintained, and I genuinely appreciated how thoughtfully the furniture and amenities were arranged, keeping even the smallest conveniences in mind. The owners are good people, and Vishnu (the helper) deserves a special mention—he is humble, polite, and very helpful throughout the stay. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I would definitely love to visit again! 😊

One of the worst resorts in Pondicherry. The owner’s behavior was very rude and unprofessional. Guests are forced to maintain complete silence like a meditation center, which is not mentioned clearly while booking. There is no basic drinking water provided, which is unacceptable for a resort. The cost is too high compared to the facilities provided, and they try to charge guests for already broken or damaged items, which feels unfair and misleading
