Trying to check in and the surly, extremely unhelpful man at the front desk refused to open the gate to let our Uber in so we can unload our luggage. He kept saying it’s against company policy! We asked our Uber to move to the front of the building but police told us to move! How do you operate a serviced apartment and not allow your guests to unload from their car safely? There is a place to unload but it required them to lift the gate bar. Needless to say we won’t be staying here again and thank goodness Happy Valley has more options for serviced apartments. I would highly recommend Eton Residences that has ample space to unload from your vehicle and staff that are friendly, helpful and always smiling!

There are many reasons we need Serviced Apartments. For me it was a move after selling our family home of 16 years. I stayed with Happy Valley 88 until the new apartment was bought and renovated. If you have been through the sale of a beloved home you will understand how traumatic it is, however well the move goes. Claudia are her team were on hand to help me in every way, however challenging. ||It's a clever ||There are three winning differentiators. 2 splendid, and fun,Nepalese room attendants who are totally honest. I can vouche for that. Claudia and her team wholeheartedly care about you and your experience- genuine care cannot be priced, finally there is no charge for electricity. I do not know any other Serviced Apartment in HK that has this offering. This keeps the cost sensible. ||The design is Oriental design, more spacious than most, good water pressure and a full kitchen (no oven). There are balconies out the back and front which are ideal. The view is lovely as it looks over the racetrack and greenery. Happy Valley is buzzing with cafes, restaurants, you have Wanchai a healthy walk in one direction and Causeway Bay in the other direction.Go up the hill (Blue Pool Rd) for a hike and the place is teeming with buses, minibuses and the tram terminus is a minute away. Enjoy.

We stayed for one month from early February 2018 and have already decided to book an apartment here again for a longer stay next year. ||Claudia the manager has made our stay wonderful. She is a shining model for “ brilliant customer service”. She is charming, thoughtful, efficient, and has that rare gift of making one feel that everything is well taken care of. How lucky for the apartment and all its stayers to have her looking after things!||As many reviewers said, the apartment is comfortable and conveniently located. We love the washer- dryer, the good layout and quietness of the apartment, the nice working space next to a window with green mountain views, the great shower and comfortable bed, its convenient location, and the many good restaurants around. ||I grew up in Hong Kong and have many foodie friends here. We all agree that the Hong Kong Cuisine or 壹玖八三 just above the Welcome supermarket which is two minutes away is one of the best fine dining Cantonese restaurants in town. |Nantei yakitori and Mekong Vietnamese, all within a few minutes walk， are also excellent. ||We love to cook fresh seafood and were able to buy really good fish from the stall titled Fat Lady in the Happy Valley indoor market just five|minutes away. ||Walking around the racetrack or the tree- lined Wong Nai Chung road is a pleasant experience Taking the “ ding ding” or the tram is fun too. ||We are picky people but could not find any “ cons” to write about this place. Hence the decision to come back again!||Bravo, HV 88!

If you are looking for quality accommodation at happy valley, I strongly recommend you to check the availability of HV88 service apartment.||||The room is nice with spectacular racecourse view, modern furnishing with full equipped kitchen utensils and facilities. It is a roomy, spacious one bed room, with app 600!sq feet.||||Staff here are friendly and courteous, with 3 times a week housekeeping service. I would like to extend my special thanks to Claudia, a very friendly and caring person who takes care of me during my entire stay. She seems be able to remember me all my small request, very warm hearted lady, very helpful indeed. ||||I do think I will return back someday and have no hesitation to recommend this nice apartment to any of my friend. Please keep up the good work. Thank you for taking care of me in past two months :)

This will be an unusual review in that I have never actually stayed there. What I did do was an exhaustive serviced apartment search for nearly two months to identify the best possible options for me and my companion to live. In that time we saw easily two dozen apartments in nearly every area in the city. While in the end we chose a unit in Quarry Bay due to convenience to the office, 88 Happy Valley made the Top 2 final cut. ||||Normally I wouldn't bother with such a review but in this case I felt it was warranted as we were so impressed and comforted by all of the time and care Claudia gave us on three return visits to see the property and ask more questions. She was always happy to help in anyway and make our potential transition as smooth as possible. At no point did she seem bothered by our many questions and return visits as we are very picky. ||||The units themselves are gorgeous, spacious, clean, and really quite luxurious. It is a special property to be sure ... with stunning views from the upper floors and a real cozy, homey feeling to the space. Though in the end we went with another property I will always have a fond place in my heart for 88 Happy Valley, and who knows, maybe actually get to stay there one day. I certainly would recommend the place to anyone and everything who is looking.

I stayed at Happy Valley 88 as my primary residence for over a year - that in itself should say something. Quality residences and top notch service that likely can only be rivaled by a handful of establishments in Hong Kong. ||||The apartments are very spacious by HK standards, with what I would guess is over 450 sqft (yes, this is somewhat large for Hong Kong), and furnished with quality finishings. Location is fantastic with everything you need within walking distance (THREE supermarkets, 7-11, gym, butchers, vets, food, etc) all within walking distance (5 minutes or less!). Quiet, family oriented neighborhood, with the most disturbing noise being the occasional supercar driving by.||||Definitely a big special shout out to Claudia who made the stay a real pleasure. You won't find many people in the hospitality industry as genuine as her!||||If you are looking for an apartment for a short OR long term stay, I would not hesitate to recommend HV88.

We were there for a month in Oct. The apartment was conveniently located in happy valley with so many facilities within a stone throw (including a sporting activity complex and grocery markets). There are tram and bus terminals close with routes could take you anywhere in Hong Kong. 2 units are on every floor. Units are very spacious in terms of Hong Kong standard with a small kitchen and washer/dryer in the unit. Rooms got clean up service at every other day and bedding was changed weekly. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Last but not least, Claudia was more than helpful in helping us to finalize the booking process.
