It's a bit out of the way for most tourists, but if you have business at Fudan University, it's perfect. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast, which is included, is really good. Downsides: a pervasive smell of smoke in the room, probably from the drapes, and the exercise room doesn't open until 9:30 am. Otherwise, it was great.

对于大多数游客来说有点偏僻，但如果你在复旦大学出差，那就完美了。房间很宽敞，床很舒服。包含在房费里的早餐真的很好。缺点：房间里弥漫着烟味，可能是窗帘的味道，健身房要到上午 9:30 才开放。否则，那就太好了。

The hotel was actually much nicer than I had expected. I had a big room with a comfortable Queen bed. A clean bathroom with all the toiletries anyone might need - toothbrush, toothpaste, Q-tips and so on. The breakfast was... interesting. To be honest, I wasn't up for the chinese food breakfast and there was hardly anything European available. But more intrepid visitors will love it!||||There is a metro station close bv as well as a street full of bars and restaurants and coffee shops. It's a good alternative to the more expensive centrally located hotel. I recommend it!

I've stayed at this hotel about six times over the past five years and each year it gets a little worse. The hotel is less than 10 years old, but looks like it has at least 20 years of wear and tear. Carpets in the room are stained; walls have no decoration on them; rooms and hallways smell like smoke. A/C keeps the room cool, but still pretty humid. The wifi and internet only work between 5:00 AM-6:30 AM before others in the hotel awake which makes it impossible to work from the hotel. Breakfast is edible, but every time I went it was poorly stocked and VERY crowded. For the price the hotel should be much better -- not a great value. If you need to be in the area of Fudan and you can afford it, the Crown Plaza is in the same neighborhood and is a VERY nice hotel.

That's the word that comes to mind when I think of this hotel. Guests can smoke indoors so naturally the whole place smells like an ashtray. The rooms are ok, but very humid. I tried for a whole week to dry clothes on the hanger in the room and they simply wouldn't. The breakfast was ok but very crowded and served at large lazy susan tables. The WiFi is also hardly functional, and perhaps this is getting trivial, but the lamination on our room key was half peeled off.|If you need to be near Fudan and can afford it, stay at the Crown Plaza. This hotel isn't awful, but I wouldn't stay here again.

前台办手续的时候服务的服务态度非常热情，并且酒店的地理位置很好，交通很便利，并且周边的配套设施很齐全，有一个大的商场。房间的装修是很普通的，但是卫生情况很干净，各个角落都非常满意，价格在上海来说还是不错的，整体的性价比比较高，毕竟酒店提供的环境是很高雅的。

This hotel is just fine for a business trip at Fudan University. It has all the basics covered and the staff are helpful and friendly. I found it to be clean and had everything I needed for my stay. The main drawback for me is the very weak wifi which was frustrating, but if one is not staying in the room for too much time then this is not a big deal.

This hotel is Fudan University's equivalent of Peking University's Zhongguanyuan Global Village. Just like my review of the latter, the following apply verbatim to Fuxuan Hotel:||||(i) The most intolerable aspect is that every room, every corridor, every nook and cranny in the hotel now reek of cigarettes. Apparently, they don't separate their rooms for smokers and non-smokers --- a huge problem as many Mainland Chinese are chain smokers.||||(ii) Also, construction works in China are apparently not built to last --- the five-year-old hotel feels like it's twenty years old. Things were fine when I first stayed in this hotel but they (plumbing, air conditioning, wi-fi, etc) start to go wrong over my subsequent visits and the hotel seems uninterested in fixing the defects. From my experience, this is consistent with Mainland Chinese's penchant for initial grandeur at the expense of subsequent maintenance --- they have no qualms investing a staggering amount of resource on a glamorous project that will win them bragging rights at inauguration but have little interest in the mundane task of upkeeping.

环境比较好，酒店里面的环境不错，周边也挺安静。服务做的比较到位，前台的服务人员在办理什么事情的时候它的速度很快，比如说我们说了什么事情之后他们很快的就会帮忙的给处理好了。房间里面的环境也不错，卫生干净整洁，比如说床地板等地的卫生都清理的非常干净，总体感觉它的各个方面都不错。
