Fontaine Blanche Hotel

Was there with for 2 nights. Good swimming and natural hotspring facilities. The rooms are a little old but the towels and sheets were very white and clean. Beds are spacious. As they ran out of non spiking rooms that can accommodate three pax, we checked out the smoking room. We were also pleasantly surprised that the room did not smell of smoke. Good selection for breakfast. Location is excellent as it’s within walking distance of the night market with lots of eatery options

I am writing this review because I had a hard time finding information about this hotel online. Then I realized that the hotel goes by two different names: The Yunnan Lushun Yunquan Hotel and the Hotel Fontaine Blanche. ||Just stayed at this hotel for the past week. The good: appealing exterior and wide open, visually pleasant common areas. The hotel room was comfortable with firm mattresses and ample power outlets that can accommodate both Chinese and US electronics. Nice set of toiletries provided in the bathroom. Guest slippers and bathrobes were provided. Though there was an ashtray in the room, this particular room, 6506, did not smell of smoke. My brief interactions with housekeeping were respectful though they did not speak any English. The less than good: common areas often had overwhelming smell of cigarettes smoke, worse when there was a banquet event in one of the many halls. The carpet in this particular hotel room was heavily stained and I felt obligated to wear the guest slippers the entire time I was in the room. There is a pot to boil water in the room and 4 bottles of water were provided complimentary each day. However, my tea cups and tea bags were not regularly changed out or refilled. There was a safe in the closet, but the one in this room did not work. There also is a small refrigerator in the room; however, on closer inspection, it was not plugged in and without moving furniture, there was no obvious nearby power outlet.||Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the hotel. If they went smoke-free, I think the overall impression would be more favorable for many foreign travelers. The room we stayed in was generally clean, though the carpet was noticeably stained and could either use a deep cleaning or just be replaced. We unfortunately did not get the chance to use the hot springs pool or the swimming pools adjacent to the hotel.

Stayed in the hotel for one night. Very nice, big hotel, we didn't have a chance to check out all of the facilities as we had a train early the next morning. The room was very nice but smelled of tobacco when we arrived. The breakfast was also a bit late the next morning which was a bit disappointing as we had to leave early. Overall, an impressive looking hotel and a short drive to the south railway station.

Great facility for pool and gym. Hot springs amazing too! Beds a little hrs, but it’s ok. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will def stay there again! Close to metro line 4 (about 1 km)

Great gym and pool facility to use! Breakfast decent as well with lots of options. Great little food court/shopping across the road and is close to metro line 4. Would recommend and would stay again

Hotel staff members were very kind and welcoming. After a long day of travelling. We relaxed in the nice spring water pool. Nice room. We loved it

第十届中学生汉语桥在此入住，留下了美好的回忆。酒店在大学城区域可以算是最有品质的一家了，房间和温泉都不错。小缺点是酒店电梯有些慢。

蚊子多，脸上被叮了好几个包，一整晚都没睡好，有虫子爬，门裂开了没修，房价也不低。通过携程网预订该房间，条款还写明即便未入住，房费也不退，简直是霸王条款，因为出差，没得选择。离市区较远，周边也没有什么好的购物点。
