Great quiet location set next to a lake with a wooden walkway along its shore which allowed for long walks along the water. Easy access to the city. Extensive breakfast and other amenities (shuttle, free snacks and drinks in the room, bottles of water), and very attentive staff.

We really enjoyed our stay and found the staff professional and friendly. The lake is beautiful and although the location is a bit out of the main city there is a nice and relaxed suburb/village near by that is actually prettier and more nicer than the centre. About a 5 minutes walk from the resort you will find shops, restaurants etc. However, we were disappointed that the spa which was sign posted, as well as two restaurants within the resort don’t actually exist. We would still recommend the resort in any case and we able to use elema and call didis easily.

The surrounding view of the hotel is excellent, tranquil and peaceful. Hotel staff are prompt in responding to your request, the service is great. The suite contains of three rooms and other common areas, which is a good choice for family outing. Rooms are very big and clean. Buffet breakfast provides many variety of foods. Hotel spa and massage are great, as well as the indoor swimming pool. There is a 8km walking trial along the lake with stunning view & refreshing air, which is only for hotel guests. In short, this may be the best hotel in Pu'er city.

酒店周边景色极佳，安静祥和。酒店工作人员会及时响应您的要求，服务很棒。套房包含三个房间和其他公共区域，是家庭出游的不错选择。房间很大很干净。自助早餐提供多种食物。酒店的水疗和按摩很棒，还有室内游泳池。沿湖有一条8公里的步行试道，景色优美，空气清新，仅供酒店客人使用。总之，这可能是普洱市最好的酒店了。

Great hotel! The staff is very friendly and helped us out a lot throughout our stay. The walk around the lake was very nice and the breakfast was delicious. The rooms were very clean and the pool was fantastic!

It’s a wonderful place to stay. Placed in a wonderful environment Lakeside, well maintained. Rich breakfast buffet , good food and great service. Receptionists are extremely kind and helpful, bery attentive and problem solving. I strongly recommend this hotel

I think you find staying at this hotel a pleasant experience. I have stayed here for a month at a time while working in Pu-er. The rooms are comfortable with excellent views overlooking the lake and forest. There are enjoyable walks at the hotel and in the sorrounding area as well as a full sized swimming pool and gym I found my stay at the hotel most enjoyable with friendly and helpful staff.

普洱开元梅子湖温泉酒店充分体现了中国二、三线城市的“奢华”。套间内居然放置了龙床和蒸汽浴室，真是令人大开眼界！来这里住宿的客人90%以上是参加国内会议的领导，可以说，真正自己出资来度假的客人并不多，因此为领导服务的特色在这里得到了鲜明的体现！餐饮很一般，绝对的国内口味！酒店周边景色不错！

酒店价格超过云南省会昆明所有五星酒店，甚至直追西双版纳的安纳塔拉，但品质呢？除了毗邻梅子湖（梅子湖也对外开放，并非酒店独享），其他方面都令人失望：房间硬件比较旧，配套设施不完善（酒店所谓的温泉是外包出去的，对外营业，看上去一片脏乱差），早餐就更糟糕了，除了煮碗米线喝碗粥，还有什么吃的？
