This is a gem of a place, large and luxurious. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because the location was not convenient if you didn't have your own car. ||||It has spcious meeting rooms and banquet halls and was built to accommodate large groups, but I was there alone and off peak. I got a beautiful room for about 400 Yuan. In a larger Chinese city, such accommodations would have cost approximately twice that price. ||||The hotel is not far from the bus station, near the entry to the highway that goes to Jianshui and Gejiu. The disadvantage of this location is that there are no city busses running by and no small eateries or shops in the immediate vicinity. But since Shiping taxis cost a flat rate of 5 Yuan per ride, this is not a big problem.||||Breakfast was included in the price, but since there were only a handful of guests at this time of year (mid-January) the spread was far from lavish. They would prepare eggs to order and give you a good bowl of rice noodles, plus there was some fruit. ||||The grounds contain a swimming pool, gym, and even tennis courts, but I did not use them. My room had a balcony overlooking a water feature. One could sit there and listen to the birds sing. ||||Two varieties of loose-leaf Pu'er tea were even supplied complimentary in the room. One was a 生普洱 and the other was 熟普洱, both connoisseur grade. 这家酒店真是个宝地，宽敞豪华。我没给五星的唯一原因是，如果没有车的话，酒店位置不太方便。酒店拥有宽敞的会议室和宴会厅，设计之初就是为了接待大型团体，但我当时是独自一人，而且是淡季。我住的房间很漂亮，价格大约400元。在中国的大城市，这样的住宿价格大概要翻一番。酒店离汽车站不远，靠近通往建水和格旧方向的高速公路入口。这个位置的缺点是附近没有公交车，也没有小餐馆或商店。不过，由于打车一口价5元，所以这不算什么大问题。房价包含早餐，但由于当时（一月中旬）只有少数客人，所以早餐种类不算丰富。他们会根据你的要求烹制鸡蛋，还会给你一碗美味的米粉，另外还有一些水果。||||酒店内设有游泳池、健身房，甚至还有网球场，但我没有使用。我的房间带有一个阳台，可以俯瞰水景。你可以坐在那里聆听鸟鸣。||||房间里还免费提供两种散装普洱茶。一种是生普洱，另一种是熟普洱，都是精品级的。显然，他们的目标客户是懂行且经济条件优越的中国客人。||||需要注意的是，他们只接受现金，不接受任何信用卡或借记卡，无论是国内卡还是国际卡。||||电话号码是 (86)873-4851777；传真号码是 (86)873-4852666。
