The people that work at the Inn are friendly and helpful. We had fried rice and sweet and sour pork for dinner and it was good! The breakfast is ok! Nothing special; could be better. The room is decent. We stayed for one night though. The bed is comfortable, but quite small! The bathroom was clean and roomy! The Inn is located in the center of the scenic area so that is a huge plus.

Located at the main square is convenient but can be noisy because there are regular shows. Breakfast was decent and had a few options to choose from. Customer Service was extremely basic, staff did not speak English and did very little to try and understand non-Chinese speakers.

The tavern is located exactly in front of the quadrangle. They have a rustic and traditional chinese interiors which is nice and brings you to old operatic designs. Since it’s located in the center, It is very convenient. it is situated near all convenient spots - restaurants, the dancing fountain, spas, Simatai great wall. It is also easy to transport because you are given free shuttle service if you checked in one of the hotels inside watertown. Just present your registration ticket. What I love most about this homestay is our room has the great wall view, it is so beautiful and the balcony is overlooking the water. At night, the ambience and lights are so pretty and for couples could be so romantic, we brought our own wine, music, and chill beneath the stars. They also provide breakfast that is included in your stay. A chinese buffet which I think is worth it given you have a lot to choose from. We are not picky eaters. One of the staff can speak english which is a relief on our part. They are also very accommodating. Overall, I loved our stay very much.
