Amazingly located, perfect for hiking the wall in the area, nice spacious room with a good shower, only downside was restraint was closed when we were off the wall, the breakfast was good and very filling though

地理位置绝佳，是徒步攀登长城的理想下榻之处。房间宽敞舒适，淋浴设施也很棒。唯一的不足是，我们离开长城时，安全门关闭了。不过，早餐很不错，而且分量很足。

Brilliant location for hikes across the wall. Great value accommodation but you get what you paid for. Helpful staff, but no English spoken so be ready with google translate.

这里是徒步穿越长城的绝佳地点。住宿性价比很高，但一分钱一分货。工作人员很热情，但不会说英语，所以最好准备好谷歌翻译。

I stayed in this guesthouse in 2010 and again in 2024 and I would highly recommend it. The service at Zhaoshi Shanju Guesthouse was tremendous, the rooms are clean, and the location is perfect for any Great Wall hiking. The breakfast at the guesthouse is good and the corn congee is made with the corn grown by the family hosts. Dinner was delicious and had vegetarian options for my wife. The journey to get to the guesthouse from Beijing is definitely worth it (take the 916 Express from Dongzhimen in Beijing to its terminal and then take a taxi).

我分别在2010年和2024年入住过这家客栈，强烈推荐。兆石山居客栈的服务非常棒，房间干净整洁，地理位置优越，是长城徒步的理想下榻之处。客栈的早餐很不错，玉米粥是用主人家自家种植的玉米做的。晚餐也很美味，而且有适合我妻子的素食选择。从北京到客栈的路程绝对值得（从北京东直门乘坐916路快速巴士到客栈站，然后打车即可）。

The location is only 200m away from the Jiankou entry. The hotel staff is very helpful in guiding how to hike to Jiankou
