This is probably THE most luxurious hotel around. The moment you walk into the lobby, you'll be dazzled by its beauty and luxury as well as grandiose style evocative of the palace. You can walk around inside the building and see all kinds of beautiful exotic objects from the ceiling to the walls and the floor.||||The room is modern and spacious equipped with all the necessary supplies you need for a pleasant stay. There's even a jacuzzi, though the washroom is not really up to my liking.||||The breakfast is amazing. Not only does it have a wide collection of Western and Chinese food, but everything is tasty and healthy. The waters and waitresses are very nice in explaining to you the details about each dish, from its ingredients to the cooking process to its nutritious value. If you don't overeat, you'll certainly have a very good start for the day.||||The service is impeccable. Regardless what problems you have the staff is very responsive. They try their best to help even if when they don't have a solution. They even helped me find a local courier to ship my parcel. ||||All in all, both the hardware and the software are of the highest calibre.

beautiful and spotless, extensive breakfast buffet, comfortable beds, nice and quiet,especially on the side of the hotel away from the train tracks. But trains are infrequent. Nice room and good staff. The Chinese restaurant upstairs is beautifully deocrated wtih carved wooden panels and the food is delicious. They serve sea urchin at the dinner buffet downstairs.

我媳妇公司在这开年会，所以我过来蹭住一晚。总体是满意的，装修感觉很好。房间不大，但是可以接受，电视有CNN和BBC。床的舒适度我自己觉得可以，枕头和被子也不错。浴室设施满意，不好的地方就是洗手间私密性不够，也没有帘子。所以要是不熟的人或者同事，会觉得尴尬吧。酒店离铁路近，有时会听见火车经过。我自己是无所谓，有的人可能会觉得吵吧。

This hotel is really nice. Clean, nice room, good breakfast. The location cannot be better. There’s shopping footsteps away. Major problem was that the staff spoke no English at all!!! They also required CNY1000 safety deposit in cash and refused to exchange it for USD. Nice hotel regardless.

Imagine my surprise at the luxury of this hotel and the fact that it has it's own museum of Chinese historic treasures. In addition to being treated like a valued guest, the restaurant and meeting rooms are excellent. This is my first choice for an authentic Chinese hotel experience. They have 108 special themed rooms - from traditional Chinese to Blue Hawaii.

The hotel is well situated to shopping, government, The Forbidden City, all within walking distance. The blend of modern and traditional China, make this a great experience for the traveler, coupled with fine service throughout the hotel. The atmosphere is not bustling commercial, as with the larger hotels, but refined and sophisticated.
