维洛纳主题酒店

住的是雀之翎，房间很大，装饰的还不错，真真是情人旅馆==酒店窗户很小，私密性很好，纯粹就是为了OOXX设计的啊。我和朋友参观了几个房间，每间房都有不同的特色，又看上那间绿野仙踪，打算下次来的时候体验一下!

还是刚开业时候去的，团购很便宜，选了绿野仙踪，非常有情调的一间房，我非常喜欢，位置也不错，走着去欢乐谷也就10分钟。白天在欢乐谷玩到晚上，正好住在这里。很方便。

I stayed at VERONA THEME HOTEL (VERONA LOVE THEME HOTEL) in Happy Valley, Beijing, for one week. “Weiluona” is merely a Chinese transliteration of “Verona”. The hotel staff are unable to speak any English and I communicated to them in Mandarin Chinese. If you don’t speak Chinese then you probably won’t have the experience that I had.||||There are significant merits and shortcomings to this hotel. What do you want me to start off with? My time was divided across two rooms. One was a room to the theme of starlight Rain, a cheaper room. The other was a room to a bird theme, a more expensive room. Starlight Rain has a cool ceiling, thoughtfully installed wall decorations, and good strong furniture. It’s nice and comfortable – good bed, good shower, but being only 5 ft 1 in tall the shower head was right on top of my head, so, you’re probably taller than me and you probably won’t find the shower to be as useful. But then this bedroom is above that restaurant downstairs with loud customers loudly talking beyond 11pm, midnight, beyond 1 am, that’s each day, and after some verbal Chinese complaints to those noisy people downstairs, a telephone call to reception to complain, their loud noises still prevented me from sleeping at 01:35 a.m. and I was so angry that I threw paper down at their tables, which I don’t normally do. The other room, the Bird room, didn’t have this problem but after 1.5 days the bathroom drain was smelling of something unpleasant and yucky. The Bird room is larger, with interesting designs and decorations, but this is an uncivilised hotel all throughout with smoking bans stuck up all across the corridors and customers smoking in the corridors nonetheless. Upon switching the air-conditioner on in my bedroom, there’s this big blast of the smell of cigarette smoke and it is disgusting. It is also unhealthy. Outside China, my travel agent told me this is a non-smoking hotel. That’s just a lie. The main reception is not well-ventilated, with customers smoking intensely and harming the health of people like me who don’t want the smoke. This hotel is ALSO UNCIVILISED when it comes to its toilets. IT WON’T FLUSH AWAY USED TOILET PAPER. They provide a bin that is without a lid and with the bin lined with an extremely thin bin plastic bag, not even wafer thin. They expect you to wipe yourself, then put the used toilet paper into the bin that is without a lid, so that your whole hotel room smells of both liquid and solid human waste. That is so disgusting, I refuse to do that, so I still throw used toilet paper down the toilet. Then I have to buy a bottle of drain blocker for 18 yuan to have the used toilet paper disintegrating so that I can flush it away, otherwise the used toilet paper will be building up further and further and none of the contents of the toilet bowl shall be flushing away. You cannot make or receive external telephone calls from your hotel bedroom, which is annoying given the big sums of money you are paying. There isn’t even a payphone inside the hotel, or on the road that the hotel is in, and I find that ridiculous and stupid.||||About the public areas of the hotel, some corridors are well-lit but some corridors are not well-lit. Lighting is half-dim half-useful, so if there is a big pool of water on the floor, you would not identify it without a torch and that is a safety hazard within Verona Theme Hotel Beijing. The strange squeaky music of the corridor is not tastefully selected and sometimes it comes through to my bedroom. But in mainland China, you could do much worse than pathetic squeaky music that lacks structural merit so I am not in a position to complain. This is April with Easter coming and the hotel is wildly out of season, with big Christmas trees at the main door and Merry Christmas decorations in the hotel. I think as they speak no English they actually don’t understand what ‘Merry Christmas’ means. But even the 4-star hotels in Beijing in town are full of Christmas snowmen during Easter.||The hotel receptionists consist of male and female members of staff. They are generally lovely (bear in mind I talked to them in Chinese, as they can’t speak English) and they are good at providing transport directions, pointing to localities of addresses which was good for me as even complete addresses of venues in Chinese are still practically useless to local taxi drivers. They are not as good at check-out administration as they used a pathetic photocopier to copy the hotel bill which is the crucial piece of paperwork that helps me to keep track of how I have spent my money. I had to make them print it out again as I could only see the hotel bill by about a third! That’s not acceptable! It’s also tacky as it’s A4 paper torn in half by the hand and they didn’t even use a pair of scissors or a guillotine to cut the paper for the official hotel bill. That reminds me - in the middle of my stay, when the hotel receptionist got me to sign on the deposit money form, there was snot on that document. I’m not making this up. There really was snot on that document. I’m just glad it was a small piece of snot and not a huge piece of snot. Oh, I don’t want to think about that…||||The cleaning ladies are friendly as well, but they seem to miss my room every other day even with that ready-to-clean sign put up on my door so I think the hotel is not that well managed. There is no system to have a security guard patrolling at night, which is not great when one night I had a wild neighbour blasting television noise long after midnight and I was trying to sleep. Some of the cleaning staff are not safety-conscious, not mopping up big pools of water on the floor of the room during their cleaning session which constituted a major safety hazard. Sometimes that water was from their cleaning, once that water was from my hand-washing, I expected them to mop things up but they did not, they just came and went. Oh and they are very very frugal with toilet paper, they give me hardly enough, and this is supposed to be a romance-themed hotel with couples staying here, taller people who poo and pee more than I do. The hotel is full of condoms and erotic oils in the bedrooms, totally useless for me as I was on holiday in Beijing to see friends. I borrowed the condoms then just put them back there. I mean, I borrowed the box of condoms to put my camera on top of it to shoot some photos using those condoms as some kind of a little platform. When noise late at night disturbed me perhaps I should have ripped open the packet of condoms to make the condoms into some kind of earplugs to help my sleep. But instead of ripping out condoms I picked room change as a method to eliminate uncivilised noises late at night. ||||Verona – City of Love – I think that is very simplistic and ideologically infinitesimal. They don’t do well with those Chinese captions of love to photographs of their guestrooms either as it’s all a wishy-washy waste of time - I know that Chinese poetry as well as prose gets really very much more eloquent and beautiful than that. I really don’t think the hotel manager himself or herself ever even set foot in Verona. They should at least do something with the idea of Juliet’s balcony. So, Verona Theme Hotel Beijing is devoid of literary and musical merits. It doesn’t have a restaurant so culinary merits are next-doors, beware of food poisoning though as they didn’t bother half-cooking my prawns. But Verona Theme Hotel does well with its artistic merits – on its walls, on its ceilings, on its floorboards, on its schemes of designs. Each guest room is designed and different from others. So Verona Theme Hotel doesn’t suffer from the big syndrome of boredom of 5-star hotels and 4-star hotels. It hosts interesting designs to stimulate you and unlike boring 5-star hotels, it does give you interesting chairs, interesting walls and interesting ceilings to look at. Enjoy! Just try not to succumb to its tobacco smoke, uncivilised toilets, drains and try not to slip on the floor to be banging your head up a wall. I don’t think I will stay at Verona Theme Hotel Beijing again, as I don’t want the stinky cigarette smoke or the dodgy safety hazards on the floor.

我在北京欢乐谷维罗纳主题酒店（维罗纳爱情主题酒店）住了一个星期。 “维罗纳”只是“维罗纳”的中文音译。酒店工作人员不会说英语，我用普通话与他们交流。如果你不会说中文，那么你可能不会有我的经历。||||这家酒店有很多优点和缺点。你想让我从什么开始？我的时间被分配在两个房间里。其中一间是星光雨主题的房间，比较便宜的房间。另一个是鸟类主题的房间，价格更贵。星光雨拥有凉爽的天花板、精心安装的墙壁装饰以及坚固的家具。很好很舒服——床很好，淋浴也很好，但是淋浴喷头只有 5 英尺 1 英寸高，正好在我的头顶上，所以，你可能比我高，你可能不会觉得淋浴很舒服。一样有用。但是这间卧室就在楼下那家餐厅的上面，每天晚上 11 点、半夜、凌晨 1 点以后，都有吵闹的顾客大声说话，在向楼下那些吵闹的人进行一些中文口头投诉后，打电话到接待处抱怨，他们的噪音很大凌晨 1:35 仍然让我无法入睡，我很生气，把纸扔到他们的桌子上，而我通常不会这么做。另一个房间，即“鸟房”，没有这个问题，但 1.5 天后，浴室的下水道发出了难闻的味道。鸟房比较大，设计和装饰也很有趣，但这是一家不文明的酒店，整个走廊都贴着禁烟令，顾客还是在走廊里吸烟。当我打开卧室的空调时，一股很大的烟味扑面而来，令人恶心。这也是不健康的。在中国境外，我的旅行社告诉我这是一家禁烟酒店。那只是一个谎言。主要接待处通风不好，顾客抽烟严重，损害了像我这样不想抽烟的人的健康。这家酒店的厕所也很不文明。它不会冲走用过的卫生纸。他们提供了一个没有盖子的垃圾箱，垃圾箱内衬着一个极薄的垃圾塑料袋，甚至不是薄的。他们希望你擦干净自己，然后将用过的卫生纸放入没有盖子的垃圾箱中，这样你的整个酒店房间就充满了液体和固体人类排泄物的气味。那太恶心了，我拒绝这样做，所以我仍然把用过的卫生纸扔进马桶里。然后我就得花18块钱买一瓶下水道堵塞剂，把用过的卫生纸分解掉，然后冲掉，不然用过的卫生纸会越积越多，马桶里的东西都不会掉。被冲走。您无法从酒店卧室拨打或接听外部电话，考虑到您支付的大笔费用，这很烦人。酒店内甚至酒店所在的道路上都没有公用电话，我觉得这很荒谬和愚蠢。||||关于酒店的公共区域，有些走廊光线充足，但有些走廊光线不好。北京维罗纳主题酒店内的灯光是半暗半有用的，如果地板上有一大滩水，没有手电筒就无法识别，这是北京维罗纳主题酒店内的一个安全隐患。走廊里奇怪的吱吱声音乐没有经过精心挑选，有时会传到我的卧室。但在中国大陆，你可能会做得比缺乏结构优点的可怜的吱吱作响的音乐更糟糕，所以我没有资格抱怨。今年是四月，复活节即将到来，酒店非常淡季，大门上挂着巨大的圣诞树，酒店里也挂满了圣诞装饰品。我认为因为他们不会说英语，所以他们实际上不明白“圣诞快乐”的意思。但即使是北京城里的四星级酒店，复活节期间也堆满了圣诞雪人。 ||酒店接待员由男女员工组成。他们总体上很可爱（请记住，我用中文与他们交谈，因为他们不会说英语），他们擅长提供交通路线，指出地址的地点，这对我很有好处，甚至是中文场馆的完整地址对于当地的出租车司机来说仍然毫无用处。他们不擅长退房管理，因为他们使用一台可怜的复印机来复印酒店账单，这是帮助我跟踪我如何花钱的重要文件。我不得不让他们再次打印出来，因为我只能看到酒店账单的三分之一左右！这是不可接受的！它也很俗气，因为它是用手撕成两半的 A4 纸，而且他们甚至没有使用剪刀或断头台来剪下正式酒店账单的纸张。这让我想起了——在我住宿期间，当酒店接待员让我在押金单上签字时，那张文件上有鼻涕。这不是我编造的。那份文件上确实有鼻涕。我很高兴那是一小块鼻涕，而不是一大块鼻涕。哦，我不想考虑这个……||||清洁女工也很友好，但他们似乎每隔一天就会想念我的房间，即使我的门上贴着准备清洁的标志，所以我觉得酒店管理不太好。没有系统可以让保安在夜间巡逻，这不太好，因为有一天晚上，我的一个狂野的邻居在午夜过后很久就在播放电视噪音，而我正想睡觉。一些保洁人员安全意识不强，在打扫卫生时，没有把房间地板上的大滩水擦干净，构成了重大安全隐患。有时那些水来自他们的清洁，一旦那些水来自我的洗手，我希望他们把东西擦干净，但他们没有，他们只是来来去去。哦，他们对卫生纸非常非常节俭，给我的都不够，而且这应该是一个浪漫主题的酒店，有情侣住在这里，个子更高的人，比我大便和小便更多。酒店的卧室里堆满了避孕套和情趣油，对我来说完全没用，因为我在北京度假去看朋友。我借了避孕套然后把它们放回了那里。我的意思是，我借了避孕套盒，把相机放在上面，用这些避孕套作为某种小平台来拍摄一些照片。当深夜的噪音打扰我时，也许我应该撕开避孕套的包装，将避孕套制成某种耳塞来帮助我入睡。但我没有撕掉避孕套，而是选择换房间作为消除深夜不文明噪音的方法。 ||||维罗纳——爱之城——我认为这非常简单化，而且在意识形态上是无限小的。他们也不太擅长在客房照片上写上那些表达爱意的中文标题，因为这完全是浪费时间——我知道中国的诗歌和散文确实比这更有说服力和美丽。我真的不认为酒店经理本人曾经踏足过维罗纳。他们至少应该对朱丽叶阳台的想法做点什么。所以，北京维罗纳主题酒店缺乏文学和音乐的价值。它没有餐厅，所以烹饪优点就在隔壁，但要小心食物中毒，因为他们不会费心把我的虾煮到一半。但维罗纳主题酒店的艺术价值非常出色——无论是墙壁、天花板、地板还是设计方案。每间客房的设计都与其他客房不同。所以维罗纳主题酒店并没有遭受五星级酒店和四星级酒店的无聊综合症。它拥有有趣的设计来刺激你，与无聊的五星级酒店不同，它确实为你提供了有趣的椅子、有趣的墙壁和有趣的天花板。享受！只是尽量不要屈服于烟草烟雾、不文明的厕所、下水道，并尽量不要在地板上滑倒，以免头撞到墙上。我想我不会再入住北京维罗纳主题酒店了，因为我不喜欢难闻的烟味和地板上的危险安全隐患。
