Free Comfort Holiday Hotel Xishan

We were doing a staycation for the Chinese Spring Festival and we checked this place out with some friends. We didn’t even know it existed as it’s is close to some mountains in the corner of Haidian district in Beijing. We went and had a special package and it was very pleasant. There were quite a few people there, but this is China and be prepared for crowds wherever you go. The staff was pleasant, the food was decent and best of all the indoor water temperature was very tolerable and exceptionally kid-friendly. There is an outdoor hot spring as well and it is also quite nice. My kids had a blast and so I love this place and look forward to another stay.

我们在中国春节期间在家度假，和一些朋友一起参观了这个地方。我们甚至不知道它的存在，因为它靠近北京海淀区一角的一些山。我们去的时候有一个特别的套餐，非常愉快。那里人很多，但这是中国，无论你走到哪里都要做好面对人群的准备。工作人员很令人愉快，食物很不错，最重要的是室内水温非常可以忍受，而且非常适合儿童。还有一个露天温泉，也很不错。我的孩子们玩得很开心，所以我喜欢这个地方并期待再次入住。

Stayed couple nights for business trip. ||Super far from downtown but close to Baidu, Huawei and other tech companies cluster.||Pluses:|- very good and attentive service;|- real huge indoor and outdoor hotspring (extra payment required to get in);|- ok breakfast - but 100% Chinese style food;|- big rooms;|- few restaurants in and in neighbor hotel;|- can buy coffee, snacks, orange juice in machines, massage chairs, even KTV small rooms;|- takes 45 mins drive to Beijing capital airport. ||Minuses:|- it is really far from downtown;|- hotspring a little old;|- hotel is super big - have to walk a lot. ||In general recommend for few nights for biz trip. Can get massage or visit hot spring here to relax.

出差住了几晚。 ||离市中心超远，但靠近百度、华为等科技公司集群。||优点：|- 服务非常好、周到；|- 真正巨大的室内外温泉（需要额外付费才能进入）；|- 还可以早餐 - 但100%中式食物；|- 房间很大；|- 邻居酒店内和附近的餐厅很少；|- 可以在机器、按摩椅、甚至KTV小房间里购买咖啡、小吃、橙汁；|- 需要45分钟乘车前往北京首都机场。 ||缺点：|-离市中心真的很远；|-温泉有点旧；|-酒店超级大-要走很多路。 ||总的来说，建议商务旅行住几晚。可以在这里享受按摩或泡温泉放松身心。

The hotel staff does not speak english. They weren't able to tell me where could I get a beer from. Poor power of the air conditioning. Stressing childish music on the halls.

酒店工作人员不会说英语。他们无法告诉我从哪里可以买到啤酒。空调功率差。大厅里强调幼稚的音乐。

Excellent hotel. Everything is fine. Free self iron and laundry is available.

Garden Palace Resort ist sehr gut, Zimmer sehr.gut ausgestattet, Restaurant und Frühstück sehr gut
