北京金鼎弘泰大酒店

还有啥萝卜丝，大拌菜啥的反正都是些家常菜，没有感觉有什么特色做法和风味，味道也是一般菜，不惊艳，价格偏贵。我来过了，我吃过了，也就行了。

The restaurant next door was really good. Makes one of the best kung pao chicken I have ever tasted. The hotel was not tolerable by western standards. It would be a 1 star rating in the U.S. Old building,peeling paint, hallway smells funny and walls were water stained. Plumbing is also subpar. The sink smelled of sewage. It means a u-trap was not properly installed. People were smoking in neighboring rooms. Overall, just horrible experience. Look elsewhere.

The hotel is located near the Yuquanlu subway station and next to the Institute of High Energy Physics. The employees at the reception were very poor in English, but we managed to communicate in an efficient way by means of a translate app. The building is all but fancy, but functional. The room was quite large, with a comfortable bed. Nevertheless, the furniture and the sofa were all but well cleaned. The bathroom was very far from any western standard, with the shower consisting of a corner of the room, plus a hole in the floor. Some broken tiles on the walls had been repaired with tape. The WiFi worked pretty well for me, but this was not the case for other people. To summarize, a choice which is not expensive but just above an acceptable level.
