成都香格里拉大酒店

We stayed as a family of 5 ( 3 teenagers ) in a a King Executive Suite interconnecting to a deluxe river view toom for the kids. There was a huge living room space, extra toilet in the suite which was perfect for us. We had a beautiful view of the river and Chengdu. The concierge also organised the day transfer to Dujiangyan Panda volunteer day for the family. The happy hour Horizon Lounge gave us a quiet area to have drinks and food and the Cafe.Z for breakfast had a huge array of breakfast choices.|The rooms are clean and perfect and the staff always ready to help. Many people may still not be aware of autism as our teenage son with autism could be quite loud in his behaviour. The staff was always kind and supportive. I would most definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in a quiet corner of the city facing the river dividing the city. It is next to a newish night spot Lan Kwai Fong which is full of KTVs and a few restaurants but not in full operation. The nearest hot spot Taikooli is some 2 kms away. The hotel is relatively old but has all the old world charm offering spaciousnous and comfort. The young staff are efficient and attentive and housekeeping is excellent.

The only reason I'm writing this review is to compliment the concierge staff who were absolutely delightful and helped us on numerous occasions with booking cars and our trip to the panda sanctuary. They went above and beyond and were are very grateful. Otherwise, the hotel is dated and needs some renovations, especially in the women's sauna, steam room and hot pool. I found the beds incredibly hard.

I cannot say good enough for this hotel, Obviously the best Shangri-la hotel if not the best hotel in Chengdu! Great location, close to leisure and great restaurants in surrounding area! And the most impressive part of this fantastic hotel is its service! I have smiling faces and warmth greeting everywhere anytime I go at the hotel, every staff I met is super friendly and welcoming! Specially, their executive club is the best of the best! Something worth to mention that Tiffany Yang, a young management trainee, who was super helpful and friendly among all of them. I have to say that this is the best hotel experience I’ve ever had in a very long time and I will definitely return next time when I re-visit Chengdu! Well done Shangri-la team in Chengdu!

对于这家酒店，我不能说足够好，即使不是成都最好的酒店，显然也是最好的香格里拉酒店！ 地理位置优越，靠近休闲场所和周边地区很棒的餐厅！这家梦幻酒店最令人印象深刻的部分是它的服务！ 无论何时我去酒店，我到处都有笑脸和热情的问候，我遇到的每一位员工都非常友好和热情！特别是，他们的高管俱乐部是最好的！ 值得一提的是，Tiffany Yang，一位年轻的管理培训生，在他们当中非常乐于助人和友善。 不得不说，这是我很长一段时间以来住过的最好的酒店体验，下次再去成都我一定还会再来的！成都香格里拉团队干得好！

飯店面臨府河有不錯的河景可觀賞，惟附近非商業區，亦缺乏能購買水果飲水的超商，生活機能欠佳。房間打掃的算是清潔，但裝潢頗舊，馬桶沒有免治沖洗設備，感覺有些跟不上時代。早餐種類尚可，但遜於國際水天平，又每天少變化，第三已略感沒食慾了。住客有相當比例是來參加會議的客人，且住宿價位高於一些新的同等級五星級飯店，下回來成都應該可會選擇地點更方便的新飯店吧！

Had a lovely stay here in May 2024 - rooms, service, dining - everything was fantastic. We arranged our accommodation ourselves and were apprehensive on what it would turn out like but we could not fault the hotel and had the best time! We had arranged private tours for our stay in China in all the cities we visited and all of our hotels turned out to be great. The only thing was we had a bad smell of cigarette smoke in our room after arriving back in the evenings on both nights of our stay, almost like it was coming through the air vents or air-con from another room, not the hotels fault. They did supply us with an air purifier and compensated us by removing our room service charge after we spoke with management.

This is definitely not my favorite Shangri-La hotel in Asia. Hotel is old and showing its age. |Bathroom door knob was broken, hallway light bulb was burn off…stain on the shower wall.|Other than that the location is good and service is fine. Chengdu has many other nice hotels to choose from. Chengdu Shanghai-La would not be my choice next time.

The room is spacious, cozy, and impeccably clean, complete with complimentary bedroom slippers, toiletries, and a lovely view. The shower boasts excellent water pressure. The staff are both professional and welcoming. Breakfast begins at 6am and offers an outstanding spread; it's the best I've had in Chengdu thus far.

房间宽敞、舒适、干净整洁，配有免费的卧室拖鞋、洗漱用品，并享有美丽的景色。淋浴间的水压极佳。工作人员既专业又热情。早餐从早上 6 点开始，种类丰富。这是我迄今为止在成都吃过的最好的。
