合江亭翰文大酒店

Within walking distance of great places in Chengdu as well as within driving distance of the beautiful mountains. Staff is accommodating but the communication with the spa was a bit difficult. Probably best to know some Chinese. I practiced mine. They are patient if you use a translator. View rooms are worth the upgrade. You can see the bridge from?some of the rooms.

早餐豐盛, 有現煮的粉麵抄手等, 熱菜提供多種川式口味菜色涼菜等, 每天的水果, 銀耳羹/燕麥牛奶, 味道很棒, 每天必吃. 打掃阿姨也很棒, 擔心下雪外出不便, 提供3~4瓶飲用水, 咖啡和茶包也提供了許多. 從成都天府機場搭地鐵到新南門站, 花費¥11全程約90分鐘步行到酒店(地鐵有直達車和普通車). 從酒店步行到春熙路市區, 約需20~30分鐘, 一路上都非常熱鬧, 不會無聊. 酒店附近有許多小吃店(宜賓燃麵/東北餃子館/西北牛肉麵/山椒牛肉麵..等), 價格不貴生意很好(味道也很棒).

房間超級大，乾淨，環保酒店，洗漱用具自備，如沒帶也可向前台取，前台服務很好，酒店餐廳晚餐非常好，又平又好食，非常推薦

位置很便利就在合江亭斜對面 离各個景點都不遠 房間寬敞乾淨 重點表揚負責九樓客房清潔的阿姨很熱情周到 但是衛浴設施稍顯陳舊 早餐比較豐富 補充也很及時 大堂前臺007和003號工作人員很親切 讓人如沐春風 心情都會美麗很多

The hotel is obviously built some decades ago, but have well maintained. Recommended for a short stay while you are busy exploring Chengdu. Attended for a conference and the facilities provided are good. The waiting staff always made it sure to keep our glasses with their traditional herbal drinks throughout the meeting. The food is great...

We stayed at this hotel because of a family gathering to be held there. My impression based on the high quality construction and fittings is that this was once a top tier hotel that has now been overshadowed by newer, glitzier facilities nearby. The location is terrific, right on the peaceful Jinjiang River and only a block from the junction with the Mianjiang River, Sishu Park, the Veranda bridge, and the beautiful riverside night spots and eating areas.||||Pluses: Clean, well appointed room with comfortable bed. Reasonably quiet. Great free breakfast buffet in the morning available for a fairly lengthy time each morning. No need to get up at the crack of dawn. Extensive Chinese menu, but with a number of western options. Western utensils available. Very pleasant staff, both at front desk and in restaurant. In-room safe. Some free bottled water in room with more for a nominal fee. Friendly maid service. No iron or board in room, but one was promptly delivered on request. Loaner umbrella in room and robe. Free in-room and common area wifi. TV, but only one English speaking channel. Nice lobby sitting areas. Easy walk to Starbucks and several night clubs, restaurants, and very pleasant riverside parks, all prettily lit at night with very safe, friendly atmosphere. Our price was quite reasonable, on the order of $60 USD/night. Not sure if this had anything to do with the wedding we were attending being held at the hotel. This is a popular wedding venue for the locals as it's near the junction of the rivers in downtown Chengdu. ||||Downsides: Not much English spoken here. We were able to communicate, but even at front desk no one was fluent. Nevertheless, everything was handled correctly and our pre-departure evening request for three cabs to the airport at a certain time the next AM was met exactly as requested. The AC in many of our parties' rooms was really weak. Curiously, while there's reasonable cabinet and closet space in the rooms, there were no useful drawers, only 3 small ones in the closet and two shallow ones by the bed. The business center was there, but old, unmanned, and clearly a thing of the past. The fitness center could not be found. No money exchange capability at front desk, despite sign (just as with the business center) implying that the service may have been available in the past. ||||Other thoughts: You may want to try for a room on the east side of the hotel as the views are way better. Be sure to go out onto the balcony off of the elevator lobby area on each floor which the maid often opens for a while in the morning. Nice views of the river and city from up there. Cigar/coffee bar on east side of lobby not a bad spot to sit if you don't mind the smoke. Heading west, there are convenience stores along the street in front of the hotel, Binjiang Dong, within a couple of blocks walk including a small "bodega like" food store and also a WoWo, sort of a mini 7-11. If you need a break from the real Chinese food, a German style bar with a great american cheeseburger is just two blocks away near the Starbucks by the Mainjiang River. Also, there's a buffet restaurant in the ground floor of the Shangrila Hotel just two blocks east on the river that has an amazing array of food including some more western items. BTW, hotel services for the wedding we attended there were excellent. The reasonable price seemed to attract a lot of younger folk and young business travelers based on the restaurant attendance in the AM.||||In summary, an older beauty with nice people in a great spot, at a great price. I'd stay there again, but would like a colder air conditioner.

很旧的酒店，房间格局很怪，不算大也不算小。在河边，位置很好。离新的兰桂坊，以及九眼桥酒吧一条街很近，走到春熙路也不算远。服务还行，早餐很一般，好在也就30多一个人。价格一直不低，这次遇到有特价才入住这里。|如果不是离客户比较近，下次不考虑住这里了。
