This review is for Zhumu Hotel in Ganzi County. This place does not have a 24-hour front desk. By 11 p.m., there’s no staff, and the automatic door is locked. Guests can’t enter or exit the hotel to retrieve their belongings — extremely inconvenient! 📍 ⭕️ Location: Located on the edge of the county town. ✔️2 km from Ganzi Monastery and ✔️2.6 km from Baita Temple. There are no high-rated restaurants within 500 meters. To get good food, you must take a taxi or drive out. ✔️Parking lot available, and you can also park along the sidewalk. 🧽 ⭕️ Cleanliness: Decent. 🛏️ ⭕️ Room Facilities: ✔️Air conditioning — but when heating, only the area close to the vent gets warm, and the room overall is still cold. ✔️Electric blanket. ❌Humidifier. ✔️Bottled water. ✔️Disposable slippers. ❌Wardrobe. ✔️Wall-mounted hangers. ❌Full-length mirror. ✔️Bedside tissues. The mattress is on the firm side, and the pillow height is basically suitable. ❌Universal outlet — overseas travelers must bring their own adapters. Curtains block light fairly well. ✔️Private Wi-Fi. 🚿 ⭕️ Bathroom: ✔️Dry–wet separation. ✔️Wall-mounted hair dryer. ✔️Toothbrush, toothpaste, body wash, shampoo, comb, bath towels. You need to bring your own: ❌facial cleanser, conditioner, hand soap, etc. ✔️Toilet paper. The shower 🚿 urgently needs repair — it cannot switch to shower-only mode! No matter how you turn it, both the showerhead and faucet run at the same time, slowing the water pressure. The entire shower setup is extremely cheap — thin metal, tiny handle — and gripping it with slightly more force hurts your hand. 🔇 ⭕️ Soundproofing: Unknown. I stayed during the off-season with almost no neighbors. The night was quiet with no traffic noise. 🛗 ⏭️ ✔️The hotel has an elevator, so travelers with large suitcases can stay with peace of mind. The front desk lady is warm and helpful, and she even offered to help with the luggage. Overall, it’s a good hotel — aside from the inconvenience when needing to retrieve items after hours.
