黄山昱城皇冠假日酒店

This hotel was booked by the travel company (Laurus Travel of Vancouver), so I can't comment on the prices, but it was certainly a very good hotel. It's in a newer area of the city, about 4 km from the 'old town', but it was very convenient for the day trips to Huangshan Mountain and Hongcun. The regional high-speed train station (Huangshanbei) is about 20 km away from the hotel; I'm not sure how easy it is to get taxis to the hotel, as the driver for the tour took me to the hotel.||The rooms are fairly standard Crowne Plaza rooms, large, with a good work desk area and a large modern bathroom. The room was very quiet, and everything was clean. There was a good supply of complimentary bottled water in the room.||The breakfast buffet was very good, although not quite up to the standard of the better hotels in Shanghai. Be prepared to be one of the only visibly non-Chinese people at breakfast; this beautiful area has apparently not yet been really discovered by tourists from outside of China. Despite that, they had a good selection of western-style breakfast foods, as well as traditional Chinese breakfast foods.||The front-desk staff were very courteous and helpful. Some spoke a bit of English, but it's best to have your cellphone handy with a translation app. (They will have translation apps on their cellphones too, so you can have a complicated conversation in that way).||The cover picture for tripadvisor gives the impression that this hotel is by a lake; it's not, but it's about 100 m from the Xin'an River, and there is a nicely-landscaped park in front of the hotel.||The only negative was that WIFI for the cellphone never worked, despite my best efforts and the best efforts of the front desk staff.

The lobby is impressive, massive ceilings, great chandelier, and loads of open space. The room was good sized, everything worked as expected. It can take a bit to figure the switches and the TV channels. Right outside the hotel is a clean river, and the walk along the river is wonderful especially if you do it in the morning. They have a good breakfast, with lots of Chinese and western choices.

Great hotel near the Yellow Mountain. Very quiet and pretty area. Good services, nice people, good bar downstairs. Can host quite a number of people at any one time. Good restaruant. Beer was quite inexpensive in this location. Surprising in a 5star hotel.

一家人来爬黄山的，没想到被这家酒店给惊艳到，从礼宾员在大门口接过我们的行李开始，一直到进房间时时刻刻的都在感受着来自这家酒店带给我的温暖！刚进大堂工作人员就热情地迎上来，那天刚好下了雨，到了前台，服务员马上就从旁边长桌上倒了两杯热茶送上来，可以说是很暖心想得很周到了。后面还应我们要求给免费换房了，听说我们是来爬黄山的，礼宾员立马跟我详细解说上山的情形，还赠送了小礼物！房间的床和枕头都很软，是我喜欢的.还有一点，就是早餐也很人性化开到10点关，爬完山回来的第二天早上就睡到自然醒再去吃早餐的，嘿嘿

Take the initiative to ask me to eat this, there is no food what, green onion cilantro should not, very good.

酒店大堂一进门就感觉比较大气，徽派建筑风格明显，很有特色，大堂吧卖的小糕点精致好看，大堂吧服务人员也很热情。||餐厅工作人员非常主动、热情。刚下了电梯，还没到餐厅，就看到餐厅服务人员微笑着说早上好，这是我没想到的。进餐厅后看了一眼早餐品种比较丰富，有当地特色小吃，有好吃的华夫饼，孩子很爱吃，还有配上美味配料的面条。主动请我吃这个，没有菜什么的，葱香菜应该没有，很好。

The lobby design of the old-school five-star hotel is my favorite style, with a few big stones and a pool. The appearance of the hotel has the shadow of Huizhou architecture. Think about the hotel built more than ten years ago, and it is also very carefully designed. The hotel service is very intimate, and I feel that every hotel staff is working hard to help customers. I forgot to bring my swimming cap, and the pool staff lent me one so that I could enjoy swimming.

老派五星级酒店的大堂设计是我最喜欢的风格，几块大石头，还有一个水池。酒店外观有徽派建筑的影子。想想十多年前建的酒店，设计也是非常用心的。酒店服务非常贴心，感觉每一位酒店工作人员都在努力帮助顾客。我忘了带泳帽，泳池工作人员借给我一顶，让我可以享受游泳的乐趣。

absolutely low quality in food and room, did not feel like it was an international chain by intercontinental. service was friendly but the food was disgusting and didnt even look hygienic, this place needs their internal auditor to come around and control their quality

Very good service, my family encountered our passport/ID/bag self “sleep walking” problem, but the hotel was able to help us to relocate and retrieve them, very grateful! Staffs are extremely helpful and rapid response, will definitely recommended! Come anytime, if there is any trouble they will help !
