Days Hotel and Suites Qingzhou

The hotel is also known as Qingdu International Hotel. This my second stay here and I was attending events held in the hotel on both occasions. It's hard to beat the convenience if attending an event there but I would select another hotel, otherwise. The location by the park is convenient to walking to the park and people watch in the mornings but there are other hotels at least as convenient since the park system is wide. There are hotels much closer to the shopping areas. The hotel has deteriorated a great deal since my last stay. They've eliminated the mini-fridges from the rooms and there was no air conditioning with temperatures in the mid eighties. They explained it was early enough in the year, they had not put any freon into the system yet for the rooms. The meeting rooms were adequately cooled, however. Very few of the counter people spoke any English and it would have been a bit troublesome without someone speaking Chinese. They did take Western credit cards. The bed was firm but comfortable enough and pillows were very nice. The breakfast buffet was excellent and opened at 6:30 am. The ground are not maintained well and are heavily weeded and the tennis court appears to have been unusable for years and was complete rubble. The wifi seemed to work fine and there were adequate 220 outlets. There is a fitness area that was nice last time I stayed here and had a pool and billiards but I didn't check it out this time.

Nice, clean and comfortable. There is an outdoor beer garden in this hotel. Breakfast is good with variety. A few convenient stores at the traffic junction. 15-minute drive to Qingzhou Railway Station.
