Linfen Home Inn (High Speed Railway West Station Store) 如家酒店临汾西站 It was raining when I reached the hotel. The hotel staff immediately gave me tissue to wipe my luggage while checking me in. Their service is excellent right from the beginning of my stay. As an overseas visitor, I had difficulty booking the Hukou waterfall tour provided by the tour agency, Le Tu Lv You 乐途旅游 which promotional poster was placed in the hotel. I called the tour agency with my overseas number but no one picked up. The hotel staff then helped me add the tour agency Wechat contact so I could enquire on the tour ticket but the tour agency did not reply my multiple messages despite them being in Chinese. Then the hotel staff helped me call the tour agency using their local mobile number and the tour agency picked up. The tour agency staff said he saw someone with an English name contacting him on Wechat but he didn't reply. I don't understand why China people are afraid to reply when they see English. It is not my first experience . I am grateful for the helpfulness and friendliness of the hotel staff who helped me navigate the murky waters of booking a tour to see the murky Yellow river. It would be impossible for me to book a tour to Hukou River otherwise, which would defeat my purpose of coming to Linfen. Kudos to the Linfen people and hotel staff for their kindness and friendliness. Even the staff at the supermarket beside the hotel is very friendly and helpful. One feels very much welcome despite coming from overseas and encountering difficulties travelling. Soundproofing is not very good. You can hear people from 6 am from the rooms around you. The dining area is very crowded between 7am to 8am and it may not even be possible to find a seat. After this peak period, there is much lesser people.

临汾如家酒店（高铁西站店） 到达酒店时，天正下着雨。酒店工作人员在办理入住手续时立即递给我纸巾擦行李。从入住伊始，他们的服务就非常出色。 作为一名海外游客，我预订了乐途旅游旅行社提供的壶口瀑布游，但遇到了一些麻烦，酒店的宣传海报就贴在了那里。我用我的海外号码给旅行社打电话，但无人接听。后来，酒店工作人员帮我添加了旅行社的微信，以便我查询行程单，但旅行社没有回复我多条中文信息。后来，酒店工作人员帮我用当地的手机号码给旅行社打电话，旅行社接听了电话。旅行社工作人员说，他看到一个英文名字的人在微信上联系他，但他没有回复。我不明白为什么中国人看到英文就不敢回复。这已经不是我第一次遇到这种情况了。非常感谢酒店员工的热情友好，他们帮我解决了预订黄河浑浊行程的难题。否则我根本不可能预订壶口河的行程，这也就违背了我来临汾的目的。临汾人民和酒店员工的热情友好让我深受感动。就连酒店旁边超市的员工也非常友好热情。即使来自海外，在旅途中遇到一些困难，我依然感到宾至如归。 隔音效果不太好。早上6点就能听到周围房间传来的声音。餐厅在早上7点到8点之间非常拥挤，甚至可能找不到座位。过了这个高峰期，人就少了很多。
