云冈美高大酒店

Staying one night during a multi-city tour through China. Very spacious room with updated fixtures. The the bed was a little lumpy but I just stayed to one side or the other. Room 1910 on the top floor. Very quiet. Non smoking. Late night room service available. The linens were very soft and the towels were oversized and left nothing exposed. Breakfast was included in my stay so I’m not sure the cost. It was a great mixture of Western and traditional Chinese cuisine. The only negative is the bathroom sink...stopped up easily. If I had stayed longer I’m sure they could have fixed it. They also provide complimentary toiletries just in case you forgot. Only the front desk staff speak English but everyone was friendly. Overall a great stay.

Facility is still relatively new with modern comfort you can find, far much better than local Chinese hotel standard. Room was huge and cosy. You have everything you need, a bath tub (if you have time), high pressure shower with cold water and hot water, two mini bottles of water (can be bigger), amenities such as shower bath gel, shampoo, hand lotion, shaver, toothbrush, a comb etc. They also provide laundry service, a shoe horn, safe box, mini bar (on request with price) free tea and coffee bag, water kettle, hugh plasma tv with limited local channel. Breakfast selection was abundance and enough for day starter, most selections with traditional breakfast, also they served coffee and tea with creamer! Location in city center outside the city wall but you can go everywhere easy by didi (chinese grab). Overall good hotel!

设施还是比较新的，你可以找到现代的舒适感，比中国当地酒店的标准要好得多。房间很大而且很舒适。你有你需要的一切，一个浴缸（如果你有时间的话），有冷水和热水的高压淋浴，两瓶迷你瓶水（可以更大），沐浴露，洗发水，护手霜，剃须刀等便利设施他们还提供洗衣服务、鞋拔、保险箱、迷你吧（应要求提供价格）、免费茶包和咖啡包、水壶、带有有限本地频道的等离子电视。早餐选择很丰富，足以满足一天的开始，大多数选择都是传统早餐，他们还提供咖啡和茶加奶精！位置位于城墙外的市中心，但您可以乘坐滴滴（中国抢）轻松前往任何地方。总体来说不错的酒店！

可能应该算是整个山西之行最满意的一家酒店了，返现后才300多块钱的价格却住上了条件非常不错的五星级酒店。首先大床房的面积非常大，很宽敞，装修风格是我比较喜欢的现代式风格，也布置得很温馨，墙面和灯光的色彩都非常柔和，而且搭配的相得益彰。其次家具也很新，床也非常宽敞和柔软，很舒服，同时还配备了一个可以躺平的沙发躺椅，不想脱衣服的时候可以使用，很方便。卫生间的淋浴设施也能很新，很干净，出水量大。除此之外还赠送免费的果盘和冰箱里面免费提供的饮料，都显得服务考虑很周到。唯一感觉不太方便的就是卫生间的灯光是感应的，会时不时地熄灭，另外客房的窗户只能开一半，透气性会受影响，不过这些小瑕疵丝毫不会影响对酒店很好的印象。

Conveniently located with an adjoining Walmart, this new property has huge rooms, equally huge bathroom and some good local restaurants. The bar is well stocked. The only challenge with this hotel is communication if you are not a native Chinese speaker. The hotel has air cooling but no AC so during summer choose high floors facing away from the morning sun. Some staff that speak English will be very helpful and all serve with a smile. Datong and hotel is very dry so stock up on moisturizers. Happy traveling and enjoying Tier C China.

Plush hotel and English speaking receptionist. Room smelt strongly of cigarette smoke and the air con wasn’t working so we opened the windows but still the room smelt and was far too hot- 25’!! The bathroom was ok spacious and with a good shower. Everything was very clean . 2 very small bottles of water were provided. The lighting system was extremely complex. Breakfast was ok, plenty of hot water and coffee with teabags. Fair buffet spread of English , Chinese and continental. Deposit of 500 Yuan requested.

豪华酒店和会说英语的接待员。房间里有很浓的烟味，空调坏了，所以我们打开了窗户，但房间里还是有股味道，而且太热了——25英尺！浴室还算宽敞，淋浴也很好。一切都很干净。提供了2瓶非常小的水。照明系统极其复杂。早餐还可以，有充足的热水和咖啡和袋泡茶。自助餐种类丰富，有英式、中式和欧陆式。要求交押金500元。

Being hosted by a local business, we were allocated this hotel which turned out to be an excellent Chinese "international" hotel. The room was large, comfortable and clean, with an impressive bathroom. The breakfast restaurant was buffet style and well stocked and, remarkably, an espresso machine. Breakfast coffee in Chinese hotels is, in my experience, almost ubiquitously foul, consisting of rewarmed carafes from the days, possibly weeks, before, served until they need refilling. This is explained in some hotels by signs signalling a need to avoid waste. Drink the tea, or find a Starbucks (other chains are available).

浴室和寢室隔間玻璃窗的百葉窗簾無法操作，打電話詢問櫃台得到的答覆是：「前幾天壞了，還沒修復。」，此外，淋浴間蓮蓬頭調整高低旋鈕卡死了；洗手台會漏水；愈是電視聲音控制開關故障；房內有煙味。即便設備多豪華高檔，沒有後天細心完善地維護保持、整理清潔，也不會讓客人感覺舒適順心。||||住宿房號：8021

Spent 2 nights there in early September.A big, modern hotel, service friendly, but mostly incompetent. The concierege did not know where breakfast is being served (or did not understand the word)..||Rooms ok and quite big, cleanliness qustionable if you look under the bed / into corners. Numerous light switches, diff to find out whic h one is for which light. Sometime you have to pull a plug - a nonsense I see in many "modern" hotels.||Dinner and breakfast good||Hotel needs someone t make sure it does not deteriorate quickly,
