平遥驿号客栈

(I find it odd that I am the first to review this guest house, as the taxi driver from the station knew it straight away and it's clearly marked on tourist maps, but anyway...) This is a fantastic guest house and I loved staying there. It's located down an alley only two minutes from two of the main streets but is perfectly peaceful both day and night. Spread over two picturesque courtyards, it fulfils every 'ye olde China' desire you could have: classical Chinese strings music is even softly played in common areas from hidden speakers. My room was large and immaculately clean; staff are really helpful and friendly; breakfast is a steal at only 15RMB; wifi was good enough to stream films. This is perhaps the best place I've stayed in China, and at only 200RMB for a large double room, I recommend it as strongly as possible!

（我觉得很奇怪，我是第一个评论这家宾馆的人，因为车站的出租车司机立刻就知道了，而且它在旅游地图上有清楚的标记，但无论如何......）这是一家很棒的宾馆，我很喜欢呆在那里。它位于一条小巷内，距离两条主要街道仅两分钟路程，但白天和晚上都非常安静。它分布在两个风景如画的庭院中，满足您对“老中国”的每一个愿望：甚至在公共区域通过隐藏的扬声器轻柔地播放中国古典弦乐。我的房间很大而且一尘不染。工作人员非常乐于助人且友好；早餐很便宜，只要15元；无线网络足够好，可以播放电影。这也许是我在中国住过的最好的地方了，大双人房只要200元，我极力推荐！

I love the quiet located away from the Main Street. The owner has three fat and cute cats which hang out around the hotel everywhere, so make sure there is nothing on the chair before you sitting down, hahaha. Clean sheet and soft lighting setting in the room, perfect and nothing to complain.

我喜欢远离主街的安静。老板养了三只又胖又可爱的猫，它们在酒店各处出没，所以坐下之前先确保椅子上没有任何东西，哈哈哈。 房间里干净的床单和柔和的灯光设置，完美，没有什么可抱怨的。
