Great location, close to all sight seeing spots, good breakfast, free pickup to and from railway station. It would be good if price can be cheaper. Recommended.

Very interesting hotel. Feels like going back in time.The hotel will provide pickup from the train station if you call in advance.Kind staffs.

Gorgeous hotel in the heart of Pingyao! The room was amazing and the staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend! (As usual, the location may be quite off, check a Chinese app too)

住店期間 有問題/要求都及時提供解決/幫助；離店後 店主非常認真 耐心地聽取客人的意見 並在第二天再次主動聯繫客人 更新情況 敬業的態度讓人挺感動的 也很暖心如果去西河書院公館 一定要找個時間 拿起一本你喜歡的書 坐在小院的鞦韆上 沐浴在冬日暖陽里 讓時光慢點 再慢點

I loved this place. Fantastic new hotel right inside the ancient city. I got the Kang bed, it was fantastic, not too hard not too soft. All the amenities were like a modern hotel but the place managed to retain the traditional vibe. The restaurant across the street is also terrific, especially the breakfast. Nothing too fancy but the food was perfect for my palate. Will return absolutely.

We stayed in the biggest room and were the only people in the hotel for the first night. It felt like this was our courtyard! Gorgeous room and hotel. The red lanterns are mesmerizing at night and the courtyard adds to the whole experience. They both picked us up and dropped us off at the train station which is a huge plus if you’re a foreigner. It can be a confusing place at first. Would definitely stay here again because of the ambiance and helpful staff.

Staff are very helpful and location is great. Suggest that the room should be cleaned though after each night which it was not in my case
