Century Palace Hotel

酒店是一家新开的五星级酒店，第一，在酒店客房可以看到海景，第二，客房的窗帘是全自动的，不知道是怎么制造的。客房的窗户是大的落地窗，设施设备齐全，显得很高端，整体的装潢或者床位都不错，床很大，服务态度不错，卫生更是没什么好挑剔的。酒店有送免费的早餐，早餐是自助的，中西餐都有。

世紀豪庭酒店主樓開幕時應有五星級數, 但現在裝修及設施已老舊, 今次還是入住副樓, 只可以說房間一般, 衣櫃內還有一大洞, 應是放保險箱的位置.||主樓和副樓間有天橋相連, 主樓設有泳池, 健身房, 桌球室等.||酒店自助晚餐及早餐都比較差, 款式少, 希望能改善一下.

2015年5月23日跟團去，如果想行街宵夜要行好遠！浴缸去水要用人手拉扯個出水口才能去水，浴室的牆很多污積，17:00入住冷氣開到23:35都是27度！||自助晚餐食物少種類，煎扒和煎魚要等一個小時才煎到來，而且所以食物都很難吃，又不夠人手收碟，問服務員拿刀叉，他竟說今天沒有刀叉，因為全都用了，難怪我們坐下時只給我們去對筷子！

I stayed for 2 nights. Found this hotel to be very up to the mark. Its very near to immigrations, Humen port and almost 3 hrs drive from Guangzhou Airport. Reached at 8pm in night but reception was quite efficient. English is a bit problem, like all countries in far east but it was still manageable.||To my utter surprise there was a translator girl available in the restaurant which made my meals available as per my needs, a first of a kind in my stays in China. I being a hardcore vegetarian always had ti sleep more or less empty stomach during my stays in china because of language problem. But this time it was as good as it can get.||The rooms were nice and clean and shiny. Air conditioning good. Hot water good. They even have provided a drinking water tap in bathroom. All toiletries were good and adequate. Room service cleaned the room without asking. Bed was king size and pillows made a good sleep possible.||I would highly recommend this hotel to any one travelling this town.

我住了 2 晚。发现这家酒店非常符合标准。距离出入境口岸、虎门港非常近，距广州机场约 3 小时车程。晚上八点到达，但接待效率很高。英语有点问题，就像远东的所有国家一样，但仍然可以控制。||令我非常惊讶的是，餐厅里有一位翻译女孩，她根据我的需要提供了我的饭菜，这在我的国家中还是第一次。留在中国。由于语言问题，我作为一名铁杆素食主义者，在中国逗留期间总是或多或少地空着肚子睡觉。但这一次已经是最好的了。||房间很漂亮、干净、闪亮。空调很好。热水不错。他们甚至在浴室里提供了饮用水水龙头。所有的洗浴用品都很好而且足够。客房服务没有询问就打扫了房间。床是特大号的，枕头可以让你睡个好觉。||我强烈推荐这家酒店给任何到这个城镇旅游的人。

I had visited twice. But this hotel staff and facility are keep downgraded. |I can say that the hotel is below than 3 stars hotels in Europe, Japan and Korea.||1. No staff can speak English.|(영어를 할 줄 아는 직원이 전혀 없음)|2. No ventilation is available.|(방에 환기가 전혀 안됨)|3. Extremely slow internet and WiFi. You cannot do any work using internet.|(인터넷이 전혀 안됨)|4. No staff want to speak in English. You can experience that the staff hang off the phone when you speak in English.|(도움이 필요해 전화하면 바로 끊어버림)|5. Dirty shower room and poor housekeeping|(샤워부스도 더럽고 방 청소도 제대로 안함)|6. No heater available.|(방이 추운데도 히터가 작동안함)|7. Finding our room was a little difficult, as although it started with an '8', it was actually on the 7th floor! No one at reception mentioned this (not the first time their performance was found lacking - on the second night of our stay, a colleague asked them to point us in the direction of the restaurant, when we arrived back, so we could meet up, but the staff neglected to do this).||||The room was huge! The bathroom alone was larger than some hotel rooms we have stayed in, featuring a bath, shower and even a sauna room. Unfortunately, the room was also very cold and the air conditioning seemed incapable of generating any heat whatsoever.||||Breakfast was good, with a reasonable choice on offer. ||||The price for the room was competitive, but we would probably not put the Century Palace on our list of hotels we would return to.||||

Hotel is located in Commercial area away from city's hustle bustle. Hotel building is great with all modern amenities in rooms. Only drawback is that food choice is limited to either Chinese local food or Chinese style food. Even breakfast has less options of western food. Rest service is excellent and prompt. Although on receptionists and restaurant managers only can speak english.

酒店位于商业区，远离城市的喧嚣。酒店建筑很棒，房间里有所有现代化的设施。唯一的缺点是食物的选择仅限于中国当地食物或中式食物。就连早餐，西餐的选择也比较少。休息服务非常好而且及时。虽然接待员和餐厅经理只会说英语。

THE ONLY REVIEW U NEED TO READ.||Background: We booked this hotel through booking.com the night before traveling, due to changes in plans we arrived at the hotel late at night, Saturday night, me, my wife and my young son (2.5yo)||||As we walked towards the front desk, the first thing I saw was that both guest seats were taken by people playing on their phones, not conducting any form of business with the front desk. I ignored it and just decided its best to quickly check in and get to bed, as I spoke one of the staff simply said 满房. Meaning they had no rooms- I shook my head and reached out my phone and showed the booking confirmation. At this point the guy sitting in the chair playing games on his phone also repeated 满房, I asked him 'do you work here? who are you?' at which point he identified as a member of staff who had finished his shift. Classy stuff. They explained that there was indeed no rooms, and that WE 'maybe booked too late' and that 'they didn't check the computer system'. So as in most cases with service in Chinese establishments, pass the buck and don't take responsibility. I was admittedly furious and still don't believe for a second that there wasn't A SINGLE room of any kind. The girl at the front desk called the night manager, and judging by the girl's replies, the manager simply refused to come down to the front desk- again, refuse to assume responsibility. They then suggested we find another hotel, lovely advice, though it had become obvious that we would have to do that. They didn't offer to call the other hotel to check, or offer any other solution. They simply stood there waiting for me to stop shouting so that I would leave.||||SHOCKINGLY bad service, how this hotel is rated 5 stars is utterly beyond me, its entirely misleading and booking sites are essentially sending their 'valued' customers into a dump. It's not right and more hotels across China need PROPER account management to make these kind of incidents less and less frequent.||只能在加上一句话：本家酒店提供我一辈子遇到最差的服务，一点都没有五星的感觉，我不可能考虑再去这家酒店及我不会推销给任何朋友或者同事。
