The hotel staff is highly unprofessional and rude. I requested the lady at the reception to let me see the room first before I book she asked me to come in the morning as she told me no staff is available to show the room which is unbelievable for such a big hotel. When I went in the morning the lady at the reception denied me and said that's not possible and I can check the pictures online. Then I booked the room for three nights. When I checked in I did not like the room as there is no main door in the bathroom, no privacy and not hygienic at all. Two people can not use the bathroom and the toilet at the same time because there is only one door sliding both sides at a time. In the middle of the night I could smell a foul smell in the room of humidity and it was so hot. When i checked in the morning AC was not working properly. I asked them next day to show me a bigger room and I upgraded my stay after paying 500rmb. Upon asking for upgrade the staff was judging us as if we are asking for free upgrade. I clearly told her ofcourse I will pay. There was one chinese lady at the reception who knew good english but was very rude to us the first day. Next day when I went again to upgrade we went to the staff next to her but the same lady said something about us in her own language to the staff who was attending us which I can definitely tell with her body language and face expressions. During check out I had to take a bus from the hotel to go to hongkong airport and we had lots of bags. The bell boy a chinese guy made a face when he saw our bags. After bringing the bags down he left our bags where the bus was standing and left. He offered no help at all and left us with a grumpy face. We felt so bad and it was such an unprofessional behavior. The staff always take out the bags from the vehicle during check in and keep the bags in taxi or whatever vehicle at checkout but that was not seen. They are suppose to do it as it's their job but what happened was not acceptable. Horrible! Disappointed! As this hotel cater a large number of customers and its an old hotel they don't care about customers at all. The staff knows whatever happens the hotel will run anyway. So sad.


酒店工作人员非常不专业而且粗鲁。我要求接待处的女士在预订之前先让我看看房间,她让我早上来,因为她告诉我没有工作人员可以带我参观房间,这对于这么大的酒店来说是令人难以置信的。当我早上去的时候,接待处的女士拒绝了我,并说这是不可能的,我可以在网上查看照片。然后我就订了三晚的房间。当我办理入住时,我不喜欢这个房间,因为浴室没有大门,没有隐私,而且一点也不卫生。两个人不能同时使用浴室和厕所,因为每次只有一扇门可以向两侧滑动。半夜的时候,我在潮湿的房间里闻到一股难闻的气味,而且很热。当我早上检查时,空调无法正常工作。第二天我要求他们给我看一个更大的房间,我在支付了 500 元后升级了我的住宿。在要求升级时,工作人员对我们的评价就好像我们要求免费升级一样。我明确告诉她我当然会付钱。接待处有一位中国女士英语说得很好,但第一天对我们非常粗鲁。第二天,当我再次去升级时,我们去找了她旁边的工作人员,但同一位女士用她自己的语言向参加我们的工作人员说了一些关于我们的事情,我可以通过她的肢体语言和面部表情明确地看出这一点。退房时我不得不从酒店乘坐巴士去香港机场,我们有很多行李。服务生是一个中国人,当他看到我们的行李时做了个鬼脸。把行李拿下来后,他把我们的行李留在巴士站上就离开了。他根本没有提供任何帮助,给我们留下了一张脾气暴躁的脸。我们感觉很糟糕,这是一种不专业的行为。工作人员总是在办理入住手续时从车上取出行李,并在结帐时将行李放在出租车或任何车辆上,但没有看到这种情况。他们应该这样做,因为这是他们的工作,但发生的事情是不可接受的。可怕!失望的!由于这家酒店接待了大量顾客,而且是一家老酒店,所以他们根本不关心顾客。工作人员知道无论发生什么酒店都会照常营业。好难过。

I love this hotel . Very clean and spacious rooms. Staff is so helpful and friendly. They have a beautiful restaurant for breakfast with a view of waterfall and garden. The mall is opposite the hotel and lots of restaurants around. Great place.

朋友说这里曾经是他们来广州必住的酒店,可惜如今走样了,最糟的是这里房间卫生清洁真是不到位,甚至可以说应该是没有清洁可言,看起来只有铺床、换毛巾与补充清洁用品,完全没有清扫地面,甚至常常忘记补充柜内的拖鞋⋯严格说“白金五星级”的花园酒店已经随着半岛酒店集团离开后已经进入历史,目前的饭店管理很糟⋯⋯ 这次来真是长见识了,除夕开始酒店大厅像夜市一样吵杂,让人穿越大厅必须越过重重障碍,要不是已经住了好多天,站在大厅中央还真不知道东南西北,酒店大厅一片混乱,许多摊位卖着玩偶杂物,这里的早餐也不行,住客水准更是良莠不齐,安排好的座位,居然隔壁桌可以随意取走桌上的餐具,甚至有一回,取完早餐回来,竟然有人迳自霸占我的餐桌⋯ 其实,广州花园酒店为改革开放后共和国引入外资建设的第一批高端饭店,是华南地区唯一一家曾被评为饭店业最高级别的“白金五星级”饭店,Since 1985,建筑师:贝聿铭,曾经是外国人士到了广州必住的酒店,虽然饭店内房间的格局与设计还是可以看到当初设计的用心,只是多年没有细心维护,行政套房的办公桌上还留有香烟烫的痕迹,家具桌面刮花了还在使用,椅垫靠枕看起来应该很久没有洗过⋯⋯ 其实,真心觉得可惜可惜,2005年从半岛酒店集团转给了岭南商旅集团后,经年累月的管理不当就成了今天的模样😨
