Zen Hotel - Guilin

跟家里人来的，路很好找过了桥往左走拐进去最尽头就到了。这边看山景也没有别的楼房阻挡，特别开阔。酒店内部环境也不错，适合好好放松一下的地方 (ง ˙o˙)ว

Located in the Lujia village, Zen hotel is quaint, peaceful and a perfect setting away from the main centre of Guilin. Don’t let that put you off though, just outside Luija village is a bus stop which runs regular buses for just 1 Yuan to the centre of town.||To note Lujia is a very small village and Zen can be found at the rear of the village. It can’t be accessed by car but it’s only 2 mins walk from where your taxi will drop you off||If however, the bus isn’t for you, then taxis are very cheap and can get you to and from Guilin centre in about 15 minutes depending on traffic.||The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and helpful with all being able to speak varying levels of English (some of the younger staff members use translation software on their phones which worked perfectly). For example, we were able to easily communicate that we’d booked a Li River Cruise and reception rang the company on our behalf to confirm pick up times.||With regards to the Hotel, the rooms are clean, modern and comfortably air conditioned. We had no difficulty in sleeping throughout our 4 day stay. ||Breakfast was included with our booking and there was a choice of traditional Chinese or European breakfast which included toast and fried egg. There are also snacks available such as a club sandwich or fries. All food was excellent.||The hotel doesn’t have a bar as such, but does have a well stocked fridge from which you can purchase beer, water and some soft drinks at Reception. A local beer (500ml) costs just 10 Yuan, it tastes good and you can sit outside and admire the view.||A welcome surprise was the ability to do our laundry. The service was free, but you have to operate then machine yourself (we were shown how). This was perfect for us as we were traveling across China.||Finally just as a heads up, the trip advisor map location is incorrect. The trip advisor address works fine though when shown to taxi drivers in Chinese. ||Here’s a picture of the hotel card for reference if you’re headed to the Zen Hotel from the airport.|

禅意酒店位于鲁家村，古雅、宁静，远离桂林市中心。但不要因此而却步，鲁家村外就有一个公交车站，那里有定时发车的公交车，票价仅为 1 元，可直达市中心。||值得注意的是，鲁家村很小，禅意酒店位于村后。这里不能开车前往，但从出租车停靠点步行仅需 2 分钟||但是，如果您不喜欢乘坐公交车，出租车非常便宜，大约 15 分钟即可将您送至桂林市中心，具体取决于交通状况。||酒店的所有员工都非常友好和乐于助人，他们都能说不同程度的英语（一些年轻的员工使用手机上的翻译软件，效果非常好）。例如，我们可以轻松地告知对方我们已预订了漓江游船，前台代表我们致电公司确认接送时间。||至于酒店，房间干净、现代，配有舒适的空调。我们在 4 天的住宿期间没有遇到任何睡眠问题。||我们的预订包含早餐，有传统的中式或欧式早餐可供选择，包括烤面包和煎蛋。还有小吃可供选择，例如俱乐部三明治或炸薯条。所有的食物都很棒。||酒店没有酒吧，但有一个储备充足的冰箱，您可以在前台购买啤酒、水和一些软饮料。一瓶当地啤酒（500 毫升）只需 10 元，味道很好，您可以坐在外面欣赏风景。||令人惊喜的是，我们可以洗衣服。这项服务是免费的，但您必须自己操作洗衣机（有人向我们演示了如何操作）。这对我们来说非常完美，因为我们在中国各地旅行。||最后，提醒一下，旅行顾问地图位置不正确。不过，当用中文向出租车司机显示旅行顾问地址时，它工作正常。||如果您从机场前往禅酒店，这里有一张酒店卡的图片供参考。|

Had a great stay there during end of May. Its a little Hotel located in a small village (Lu Village) with a very calm environment. Only entrance is via a bridge. Rooms are clean and modern, nothing to complain. Staff is super friendly and helpful. There are some restaurants in the village and small shops where you can buy some basic stuff. Be aware that Lu village is quiet far away from the city center (15-20 Yuan Taxi Drive).

五月底在那里度过了愉快的时光。这是一家小酒店，位于一个小村庄（卢村），环境非常安静。唯一的入口是通过一座桥。房间干净、现代，没有什么可抱怨的。工作人员非常友好和乐于助人。村里有一些餐馆和小商店，你可以在那里购买一些基本的东西。请注意，卢村很安静，远离市中心（打车15-20元）。

I am very glad that I have stayed in Zen traveling hotel.| I visited Guilin for 7 days, at first, i booked zen hotel for only 3 nights, just in case i didnt like it, But I really liked everything in zen traveling hotel so I booked it for the whole 7 days ^_^ ||You dont feel like you are stranger or a guest, everyone here is very welcoming and kind, you feel as if you have known them for longer time. ||I would like to thank all the staffs for their hospitality, specially the reception Lady (Toby) who helped us with booking taxis and tours for our trips.She also shared with us valuable information and tips which helped us in the city and during our visit to the long destination places; yaoshan mountain,bamboo rafting, xingping town and Li river cruise. ||I would like to recommend this hotel, it is near river and beautiful place.. this hotel is about 20 mins far from the city centre ( which approximately costs 15-20 yuan by taxi) and also there is a bus stop (lu jiacun 鲁家村） only 2 mins walking from the hotel. |

Went there during the shoulder season. Was not busy at all due to the rains. Lovely, modern hotel with nice views and very helpful staff. Go across the village gates to the small miefun restaurant for a cheap bowl of delicious noodles.

淡季期间去了那里。 由于下雨，一点也不忙。 可爱、现代的酒店，景色优美，工作人员非常乐于助人。 穿过村门，来到米粉小馆，吃一碗便宜又美味的面条。
