杭州银隆西湖四季酒店

上次入住，應該有十年以上的光景吧～ 房間空間很大，新的酒店已經很少這摸大面積了。地理位置非常方便，又在百貨商城邊上，建議設施多少更新一下。

Firstly let me say that I was upgraded to a suite. I can’t imagine the basic design of the other rooms would be much different. This is a magnificent hotel. The beautiful big room came with a bathroom bigger than some hotel rooms, including a big round free standing tub, separate shower and toilet and 2 sinks. Great water pressure. There is an en-suite toilet and sink as well which wouldn’t be in a standard room but I wasn’t really sure of its purpose, with the bathroom being as big as it is. This room included sitting space. There are all amenities including a free mini-bar. The large bed is comfortable with good pillows. There is a clock, which I hadn’t seen many of in my 32 days in China. A great breakfast is included on the 15th floor either inside or on a balcony overlooking the city. The staff is friendly and some speaking good English, not that surprising in a big city close to Shanghai. The hotel is reasonably located. The room cost me AU$142, which is fantastic value for what you get, upgrade or not. The best hotel of my China trip and there were some good ones along the way.

首先说一下我被升级到了套房。我无法想象其他房间的基本设计会有多大不同。这是一家宏伟的酒店。漂亮的大房间配有比一些酒店房间还大的浴室，包括一个大的圆形独立浴缸、独立的淋浴间和卫生间以及 2 个水槽。水压很大。还有一个套间厕所和水槽，标准间里没有，但我不太确定它的用途，因为浴室很大。这间客房设有休息区。 设施一应俱全，包括免费迷你吧。大床很舒服，枕头也很好。有一个钟，我在中国32天没见过几次。 15 楼提供丰盛的早餐，可在室内或俯瞰城市的阳台上享用。工作人员很友好，有些人英语说得很好，这在靠近上海的大城市里并不奇怪。酒店位置合理。房间花了我 142 澳元，无论是否升级，这对于你所得到的来说都是非常超值的。这是我中国之旅中最好的酒店，一路上也有一些不错的酒店。

SSAW Boutique Hotel : Boutique has been added into this hotel name to conjure up mystery and sophistication in the hope you will stay here, in reality it is hiding the fact that the location is terrible and the hotel is average. Boutique is also used as the hotels "excuse", for lack of facilities like a Gym or Pool and English TV Channels.||||Location: Terrible. Not suitable location for tourists to visit central Hangzhou attractions.||||The rooms are well appointed with large bathrooms, noisy timber floors (allowing you to hear every movement from adjacent rooms) and rock hard beds. The room I was assigned smelled musty, mouldy. The room was clean and did contain all the amenities you could possibly need.||||Internet is provided throughout the hotel via free wifi, but in my use I found this dropped out more than stayed connected and was extremely slow. The public areas such as the cafe on the 6th floor was more stable than the room connections.||||Working in the room is difficult. You can "work around" the poor wifi connection by using the LAN cable connection, but the location of power and LAN connection to the only table means that cables are stretched and hinder productive work.||||Breakfast at 6th floor cafe, there where no english speaking staff. But the staff on duty did try very hard to cater for our needs. Breakfast is more Chinese orientated than to western tastes, the Chinese variety is very good and of good quality. ||||Security: Hassled on arrival by other (not sober) guests made the female guests uncomfortable during check in. The in room safe is too small for a standard business laptop, and in my room the safe was not even attached to any fixed structure. It could be readily moved around or out of the room. Acknowledging that in room safe should not be used for valuables anyway the hotel does offer "safe deposit" at the front desk fee of charge.||||The staff are excellent! I did encounter some "no understand" shrugs which initially give the impression of "lack of caring" but given a little extra time to understand they try to accommodate your needs and are helpful when approached with issues to resolve.

携程定的价格，非常优惠。酒店就在银隆百货，门面不是特别大气，但是该酒店本身走的就是精品酒店的线路，所以一进酒店大门，立马就感到了浓郁的东南亚风情。不过有一点要提的是，酒店入住，车子到了门口没有门童开门、拿行李。不知道是不是我要求太高？办理入住的时候，服务员的态度一般，不是特别的热情。虽然业务也算熟悉，但是要说温暖还是谈不上。给的套房相对对这个价格来说非常好啦！客厅和卧室都是落地窗，浴缸就在窗旁，大床有蚊帐，很有情调。早餐在6楼，但是品种比较一般。不过晚餐还是不错的，餐品实惠，环境优雅，很值得推荐！酒店所处路段在修路，出门很多吃的地方。总之这次入住很值。

The hotel resembles a top 5-star International hotel, with amenities to match. The room is spacious with excellent bathroom. The in house food is however not so 5-star and reveals it's local Chinese origins. Location is neither convenient nor tourism catered. Although there is a shopping mall attached to the hotel, the items for sale are not that appealing except to local residents. TV channels are mostly local, with one HBO channel and 2 Asian news channels in English. ||||The price for the accommodation is worth it though, and is a welcome retreat after a long day's work.

Looks a little dated from the outside, but once you step in, its a different world. A little library in the ground floor is part of the small but elegant lounge. The rooms are neat. There is free mid night snack between 10 and 1130 and the breakfast is extensive. A 4 minute walk from the metro and 10 minutes to the Yuan gardens. Loved everything about this place.

从外面看起来有点陈旧，但一旦走进去，却是另一个世界。一楼的小图书馆是小而优雅的休息室的一部分。房间很整洁。 10点到1130点有免费的夜宵，早餐也很丰富。距地铁站步行4分钟，距袁园10分钟。喜欢这个地方的一切。

This place is great but and I accept that reception and waiting staff don't need to speak English, but a simple menu translation, or (god forbid, my pet hate) picture of the food on the menu, would mean that I could have had an excellent meal rather than the ok meal off of the room service menu that I actually had to have seated in the lovely restaurant.||Breakfast was also an issue as 95% Chinese patrons = 95% chinese breakfast leaving me to eat toast & jam and fruit.||These little remedies would mean I would stay here every trip I come to Hangzhou, as the decor and rooms are superb giving a relaxed feel of a cool Thai hotel! Excellent value non-the-less

酒店非常特别，装修风格是东南亚风情的，感觉很有feel，一走进去就有一种走对了地方的感觉。服务员很亲切，笑容满面的。房间也挺舒适的，尤其床是我比较喜欢的弹性度，睡了个超级美的觉，希望下次再有机会还去。
