Wyndham Grand Plaza Resort Nanjing

We recently stayed at Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Resort in Wolonghu at the outskirt of Nanjing with a group of friends. This hotel was so grand that it took our breath away the minute we stepped into the grand lobby. It looked like a six-star hotel. The place was sparkling clean and neat.|The check in at the reception was effortless even though security check was more stringent than some other countries. |Our room was a huge suite with a big balcony overlooking the lake. Every amenity that I could think of was provided. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. The bathroom came with a big tub in addition to a separate area for shower and toilet. The rain shower was marvelous. Toiletry provided was top notch French branded.|The two dinners we had at the hotel were of Michelin Star level. Service was attentive and friendly. The breakfast had so many varieties that I was not able to try everything in one sitting.|We had several very pleasant morning walks along the lake in well-marked path. |Overall, it was one of the top hotels we had ever stayed in. It is a great place for a quick get away from any bustling city.|We would come back without any reservation. Highly recommend this GEM.

四月份在卧龙湖的温德姆吃饭，这里还是没什么人气，业主群里成天都是抱怨工程烂尾、班车缩减的。||我们要了乔治湖厅的包间，点了菜单上几乎能点的菜，似乎厨师和一年前有变化，做菜简约了很多，不再追求繁复的干冰或假花。熟醉虾、雪花牛肉这样提前做好的功夫菜还挺好，其他的比如砂锅豆腐、毛豆肉丝都不耐吃，就连招牌的鱼头汤，比起一年前、两年前、三年前，淡了很多，火候不到，鱼头未必是卧龙湖鱼头了。

This resort takes you back to the days of elegance and opulence. No luxury was spared. Every inch of the hotel and resort was immaculate. The only concern is the difficulty of getting there from the airport. Be sure to book the hotel limo far in advance.
