明城锦江大酒店

This is our second visit to this hotel since two years ago. At that time, the hotel is just at the soft opening period. This time hotel building frame and the lobby are well lit this time, bright and shinning. The reception is very courtious, they even helped me to put the frozen seafood I brought along at their kitchen's freezer. ||||The room is very well designed and equipped with taste. Everything indicates this is a very new luxuary hotel. The breakfast is rich and tasteful, the service is very good, only comment is if their service hour could extened another half an hour, till 10:00 a.m., instead of 9:30 a.m.||||When we try to have some cold drink at the bar, the girl obviously not the bar tender, does not know how to mix the drinks. Only thing she knows being serving drinks. There is no zero or diet coke, we told her they should consider some senior people cannot intake so much sugar, a grand hotel like this should have some alternative drinks prepared. The other comment I wish to make is the hotel should strenthen its enforcement of no smoking, like many other Chinese service facilities, afraid to offend the customers, turn their sight away from the smokers who not obeying the rules.||||The hotel is obviously ahead of its local economy, thus, their price is very attractive for the value provided. I will recommand this hotel for travellers enjoying comforts.

Like most of the hotels in China, they are new, aimed for 5 star grade, great ambition, but lack of management experience and not well trained staff. This hotel is managed by a well-known Shanghai state owned hotel group has the hardware that matches all the 5 star hotel, but not to the standard of a real 5 star hotel.||||The receptionist are not very friendly, and lack of the knowledge of their rooms. When we asked if there is any difference between a large bed executive suite vs. two single bed executive suite, the girls insisted that they are the same. However, the two single bed room is a much larger one.||||As we stay at the Executive Floor, there is also an Executive Lounge like its official website described. However, we found out that they are not in operation. The true reason is, the hotel suffers a low occupancy, they shut down that lounge to save some cost. Now they offer the complimentary drink coupon to compensate the no lounge service. However, the girls insisted that only one coupon per room. We think it is a strange policy, since we both booked as couples to stay. Under our persistence of checking, they found the management policy is to provide maximum of 2 coupons each room. When we redeem the coupon for drinks, they only serve those sweet soda, when I asked for diet or Zero Coke, they just flatly replied "Not available"||||The official price is close to US$250/night, and the walk-in rate is about half; then if you book it via internet, you can get that in about US$80/night. It is a good deal for this grand hotel, if you could forgive the lack of service.||||Yancheng used to be an poor area. Like all other places in China, the urbanization quickly sweep over China in recent years. The city has many new skyscrapers, the office buildings, the hotels, the high-rise apartments, but yet to be filled in with users. Our hotel is located in such a new district, neighboring with all the new buildings. However, when we try to find some local flavored restaurants or eateries, it is a disappointment, they are in much remote old part of the city, where the real life goes on.

The hotel should provide sanitary covers for the bathtub.. and if they can add a small thing like bubble bath etc, it will definitely add to the experience of the guests staying here.. overall I would rate the hotel as good..

Travelling around the world and many times in China I can only recommend this hotel. By the way the name as changed to Golden Eagle. Rooms are big and almost soundproof witch is not the case of many hotels in this country. Was maybe lucky not to get a room near the road. To bad they don’t have non smoking rooms but in the one I got there was no smell at all.

我环游世界并多次来过中国，我只能推荐这家酒店。顺便说一句，名字改成了金鹰。房间很大而且几乎隔音，但这个国家的很多酒店都没有这种情况。也许很幸运没有找到靠近马路的房间。不幸的是，他们没有无烟房，但我住的那间根本没有气味。

Enjoyed staying at the MingCheng Jinjiang Grand Hotel (Yanda District) in Yancheng, China several times.... excellent Guestrooms, Service and the food was wonderful. Close to our place of business, City traffic was EZ. All good/Highly recommended.

多次入住中国盐城的明城锦江大酒店（盐达区）。房间很棒，服务很好，食物也很棒。靠近我们的营业地点，城市交通很方便。一切都很好/强烈推荐。

酒店位于盐城新区，里市政府很近，道路交通什么的看着很整洁。房间里基本设施都有，不过好像没有水果。另外早餐种类也不是特多，房间送餐的香煎龙利鱼有点咸，不知道是不是因为产盐的原因。。。。

很不错的酒店。设备还比较新。酒店内外环境都好，酒店的健身设施也完善。周边有大商场，咖啡馆，还有公园，吃住玩一条龙服务。

酒店很新，几乎是五星酒店的硬件水平，房间很大，明亮，自助餐一般，最关键的是服务人员很差，完全没有人性化的服务，领班气质差，服务水平低，和酒店的硬件非常不匹配。
