A Spartan hotel room, to be certain, but with all the necessary amenities, clean bed and hot water and a relatively large space to work with. Air conditioner and WiFi are more than adequate. The location, between the slow speed and high speed Kunshan railway stations and adjacent to the Kun Square shopping centre complex and City Supermarket complex, as well, makes for a very convenient travel hub in Kunshan. You can easily cross over the slow speed station to access buses to anywhere in Kunshan. The staff speak no English and were frankly shocked to receive a couple of foreign travelers but they used Baidu translate and were very friendly and helpful. Best of all, the price was the cheapest we found anywhere in our month in China. 80 RMB per night for a room with a window (cheaper without). Most highly recommended if you find yourself in Kunshan. Pro-Tip: The hotel is a bit tricky to find as it is on the 3rd floor of an Internet Gaming Cafe but it is worth the search.
