周庄正福草堂客栈

进周庄之前在网上看到的正福草堂，打电话订的地方。比起在周庄其它客栈，正福草堂算是比较高档的住宿选择。虽然外面很吵但是住宿的地方很安静，咖啡不错。环境很儒雅。当时的价格基本上市600多一晚。因为自己住在一楼相对差一点挨着洗衣房的房间所以便宜很多。楼上我去看了，环境很好，有一个玻璃房子，适合晒太阳。

江南周庄内的别样草堂。房间不多，环境幽静。江南的别院，让心情放松。两层木式结构的建筑，内有门廊、茶室2间、天井、房屋不到十间。别样中式风情。

We stayed at Zhouzhang - about an hour out of Shanghai - for three nights to experience some China outside the big cities. Our hotel in Shanghai organized a long distance taxi for us for RMB500 oneway. We did learn that the taxi can only go as far as the entrance gate to the old town - a few minutes from the hotel. Have the address written in Chinese and everyone will show you how to find the hotel, just a few minutes inside the old town gate. We returned to Shanghai on the local bus for RMB 25 each - an adventure in itself. It took a bit over an hour.||We booked through Bed and Breakfast in China, which worked well at http://www.bb-china.com. The hotel was like one of the museum houses we had visited. It was a grand two-storey house, built around two central courtyards, with living rooms you could sit in. The guestrooms were upstairs overlooking the second courtyard.||Our room was the middle room, with ensuite, couch and a view over tiled roofs to the pagoda. ||The hotel included a basic and acceptable breakfast. ||Be warned that there is little English at the hotel or in town. No TV at the hotel, but who needs that to interrupt an outstanding experience of China?||We were there in winter. In better weather, you could have walked out of town into the country.

我们在周章镇住了三个晚上，这里距离上海大约一个小时的车程，可以体验一下大城市之外的中国风情。我们在上海的酒店为我们安排了长途出租车，单程 500 元人民币。我们了解到出租车只能开到老城区的入口大门，距离酒店只有几分钟路程。只要用中文写下地址，每个人都会告诉你如何找到酒店，酒店就在老城区大门内几分钟路程的地方。我们乘坐当地巴士返回上海，每人 25 元人民币，这本身就是一次冒险。整个过程花了一个多小时。||我们通过中国的 Bed and Breakfast in China 预订，http://www.bb-china.com 上很方便。这家酒店就像我们参观过的博物馆一样。这是一栋宏伟的两层楼房，围绕两个中央庭院而建，客厅可以让你坐在里面。客房在楼上，可以俯瞰第二个庭院。||我们的房间是中间的房间，有套间浴室、沙发，可以透过瓦片屋顶看到宝塔。 ||酒店提供基本的、可接受的早餐。||请注意，酒店和镇上很少有人说英语。酒店没有电视，但谁会因为看电视而打扰您在中国度过的美好时光呢？||我们是在冬天去的。天气好的时候，您可以走出镇子，走进乡村。

Chose to stay in a small town for one night on our trip from Beijing to Shanghai instead of the more busy Suzhou to experience a water town. The Hotel really added to our experience, though we couldn't really enjoy the the courtyard in the evening, because there was a group of chinese having a tea ceremonies or whatever in one of the meeting rooms. They were talking the chinese way...||From the hotel, we explored the Old Town after our arrival at 16.00, had diner along the canals and the other morning we visited some gardens and took a boat ride. All very quiet and enjoyable.||The hotel and it rooms have a high quality, with luxurous bathrooms. Not so cheap (780 RMB), but that's what your choose for. Breakfast is included and just OK. ||Friendly service, though they don't speak English very well, but at least we could arrange a taxi to shanghai (400RMB).

我们从北京到上海的旅程中，选择在小镇住一晚，而不是去更热闹的苏州，体验水乡风情。酒店确实为我们的体验增色不少，尽管我们晚上没能真正享受庭院，因为有一群中国人在其中一间会议室里举行茶道或其他活动。他们用中国的方式交谈……||从酒店出发，我们于下午 16:00 抵达后游览了老城区，在运河边享用了晚餐，第二天早上我们参观了一些花园并乘船游览。一切都非常安静和愉快。||酒店和房间质量很高，配有豪华浴室。价格并不便宜（780 元人民币），但这就是您的选择。早餐包含在内，还不错。||服务友好，虽然他们的英语说得不是很好，但至少我们可以安排出租车去上海（400 元人民币）。

We do not recommend this hotel for the following reasons. Firstly the location inside the old town is inconvenient because once inside the town gate, guests have to carry luggage for about five minutes over cobbled street over a stone bridge to the hotel up to the second floor. We would recommend staying within a short walk of the town gate ie Yunhai Resort or similarly located hotels. Secondly it is hard to catch taxi because there are only five taxi in the area. There is a phone number for the cab company but the typical response from the dispatcher is that none of them is available. You may catch a cab from Shanghai or Suzhou as it drop off passengers if you are lucky. Thirdly, most of the time during our stay, no one was at the front desk (there is no telephone either). Fourthly, there is no lock on the room door except simple padlock ie room can be easily broken into. Fifthly, hotel payment is cash only. Finally, I suspect that this hotel may be above average (ie other hotels inside old town is even worse) except for the cheapest room on the first floor.

我们不推荐这家酒店，原因如下。首先，酒店在老城区内的位置不方便，因为一旦进入城门，客人就必须携带行李走大约五分钟，穿过鹅卵石街道，经过一座石桥，才能到达酒店二楼。我们建议住在离城门不远的地方，例如云海度假村或类似位置的酒店。其次，很难打到出租车，因为该地区只有五辆出租车。有出租车公司的电话号码，但调度员的典型回答是没有一辆出租车可用。如果幸运的话，你可以从上海或苏州打车，因为它会送乘客。第三，在我们入住期间，大多数时间前台都没有人（也没有电话）。第四，房间门上没有锁，只有简单的挂锁，因此很容易被撬开。第五，酒店只接受现金支付。最后，我怀疑这家酒店可能高于平均水平（即老城区内的其他酒店更差），除了一楼最便宜的房间。

Just to be clear, this is the one in Zhouzhuang, not Tongli. ||Enjoyed our stay here as we loved Zhouzhuang and experiencing it in the evening and morning was well worth it. ||The room itself was nice but not amazing. A lot of space wasted on a bathroom that in fact has very little to offer. But the hotel is really really pretty (and has a delightful kitten!) and the staff are fantastic especially when it comes to recommendations etc.|No English spoken I think.

需要说明的是，这是周庄的酒店，不是同里的酒店。||我们很喜欢这里的住宿，因为我们喜欢周庄，在晚上和早上体验一下这里的风光非常值得。||房间本身不错，但并不惊艳。浴室浪费了很多空间，而浴室实际上没什么用。但酒店真的很漂亮（还有一只可爱的小猫！），员工很棒，尤其是在推荐等方面。|我认为他们不会说英语。

Excellent ... Happy to be able to visit Zhouzhuang and even more when i found this hotel. I will definately recommend you if you are looking for an ancient and traditional while cozy hotel to stay in. The hotel is really taking care of its cleanliness and also the staffs are so friendly. They are really willing to help you anytime you need so you are just feeling that you are being pampered all the time.

This is a lovely little hotel in Tong Li with only a few rooms, so make sure you book ahead. The person at the front desk was very friendly. We had booked our room through c-trip, and had no problems with the booking upon arrival.||||The room was incredibly lovely, with beautiful antique furniture, including a comfortable bed and tea service on a day bed by the window. Bathroom was spotlessly clean and had everything you could ask for. ||||The hotel may be a little difficult to get to for those with disabilities, as a car would have to leave you on the other side of the quaint little bridge connecting to the old town. But, if you are able bodied (and not incredibly lazy), don't miss out on the pleasure of this simple little gem. For our return the very helpful attendant in the front (who might be the owner-- we weren't sure as our Chinese language skills are pathetic) got us a rickshaw which took us to the bus stop, along with our many pieces of luggage acquired from shopping sprees in Tong Li.||||The gardens in the hotel are spectacular, as are the many well kept rooms that are, we think, used for tea ceremonies.
