Leida Hotel

My 2nd time in Dongtai, 1st time in Leida hotel. It looked good on the website. 1st impressions were good. Even though the staff spoke very limited English they checked me in efficiently (I do speak some Chinese but if you don't it's okay). The rooms are a good size and the big picture windows give great views over the public lake/park. the only downside was the faint aroma of stale cigarette smoke in the room but this is China and unfortunately to be expected.The downside was the breakfast was very Chinese and though I love the cuisine here I'm not a lover of Chinese breakfast. It would have been better if the cook knew how to make fried eggs in different styles than just solid yokes and they invested in a good coffee machine. The coffee was in a flask....and was white....I didn't even try the bit I poured into a cup. The positive is Wuyue Plaza is a 10 minute stroll and has a Starbucks and MacDonalds!I had a look at the gym and pool. Gym was 10 yuan, pool was 40. Both looked okay. The hotel grounds needed a bit of a tidy up but were okay. I couldn't find direct access into the lake/park area but then I was only there 2 nights. The big convenience was Wuyue Plaza. The top floor was restaurants. A decent selection. Towards the back on the outside walking street was a decent little bar (Black Vine). Nice manager, 8 craft beer taps, lots of bottled beer. Yes, I'd stay here again as it suited my purpose.

我第二次来东台，第一次住丽达酒店。网站上看起来不错。第一印象很好。尽管工作人员的英语说得非常有限，但他们还是高效地帮我办理了入住（我确实会说一些中文，但如果你不会说也没关系）。房间大小合适，大窗户可以欣赏到公共湖泊/公园的美景。唯一的缺点是房间里有淡淡的陈旧烟味，但这是中国，不幸的是，这是意料之中的。缺点是早餐非常中式，虽然我喜欢这里的美食，但我不喜欢中式早餐。如果厨师知道如何制作不同风格的煎蛋而不仅仅是实心蛋黄，并且他们投资了一台好的咖啡机，那就更好了。咖啡装在一个烧瓶里……而且是白色的……我什至没有尝试倒入杯子里的咖啡。优点是吾悦广场步行 10 分钟即可到达，那里有星巴克和麦当劳！我看了健身房和游泳池。健身房10元，泳池40。两个看起来都还不错。酒店场地需要稍微清理一下，但还好。我找不到直接进入湖泊/公园区的通道，但我只在那里住了两晚。最大的便利就是吾悦广场。顶楼是餐厅。一个不错的选择。外面步行街的后面有一家不错的小酒吧（Black Vine）。经理人很好，有8个精酿啤酒水龙头，有很多瓶装啤酒。是的，我会再次留在这里，因为它符合我的目的。

The hotel is located inside a park, next to a man-made lake, high ceiling. There are plenty of parking if you drive there. The service is not what you expected from a 5 star hotel, almost none. You have to ask them to change bed sheets if you stay there for more than one day. The water temperature in the shower was unpredictable, you can be burned if not extremely careful. Food was ok.

酒店位于公园内，毗邻人工湖，天花板很高。如果您开车前往那里，那里有充足的停车位。服务不是你所期望的五星级酒店，几乎没有。如果你在那里住超过一天，你必须要求他们更换床单。淋浴的水温难以预测，如果不小心的话可能会被烫伤。食物还可以。

早餐的咖啡只有即溶三合一咖啡, 高級套房的冰箱壞了, 沙發上有明顯污漬, 熱水很久才來
