Gem Hotel

The staff was kind. The front desk worker wasn’t sure what to do with my foreign passport. It is a normal Chinese hotel, smell of smoke lingering in each part, nice room accommodations, but what ruined the experience was the 11 mosquitos killed throughout the first night and morning there along with the two dead ones that weren’t cleaned off of the wall before I arrived. Overall without the mosquitos I would say it is exactly what you would expect out of a Chinese hotel and I would recommend it. It is a bit of a drive from downtown so if you are seeking to see JiuJiang, go somewhere closer to the center of town, this is in an industrial district. It has a beautiful park next to it!
