Jinhai Yiyun Hot Spring Hotel

Your first thought when you see this hotel is it’s huge. The hotel is scattered over a large area. Then you will think of Europe as the architecture of the building resembles a European city. The ceilings are very high so the spacious rooms appear even larger. It is a hot springs resort; it isn’t crowded and the water and pool areas are very relaxing and sufficient. The breakfast buffet however is not so wonderful and is just going to fulfill a need for sustenance. There are gyms for basketball, tennis, badminton, ping pong and perhaps others, but those are the places we visited. I said it could be amazing, and it still could be but the service isn’t top notch. In fact, one hostile lady made us pay for a broken children’s dish. Yes, my one-year-old dropped her children’s plate and so yes, it is our fault, but she was angry and they made us pay for that? Always a first for everything. They charge extra for the following: broken plates, extra water bottles, if you decide to use the hot springs twice on the same day. You get one use per one-night paid visit so don’t expect to go the second day of your one-night visit for free. Lastly, you’ll pay for usage of the previously mentioned gyms. Beyond the annoyances of the server and the extra fees, if we are in Gu’an again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and perhaps we will return in the winter as the hot springs will be more enjoyable then.

看到这家酒店的第一感觉就是它很大。酒店占地面积很大。建筑风格酷似欧洲城市，让人联想到欧洲。房间层高很高，显得更加宽敞。这里是温泉度假村，人不多，水池和泳池区域非常舒适放松。不过，自助早餐并不丰盛，只能勉强填饱肚子。酒店里有篮球场、网球场、羽毛球场、乒乓球台等运动场地，我们只去了这些。我说过这里本来可以很棒，现在看来也确实如此，只是服务不太好。事实上，一位态度恶劣的女士竟然让我们为打碎的儿童餐盘买单。没错，我一岁的孩子把餐盘打碎了，所以确实是我们的错，但她居然还生气，还要我们为此付费？真是闻所未闻。他们还会对以下情况额外收费：打碎的餐盘、额外的水瓶，以及一天内两次使用温泉。每次付费入住一晚只能使用一次，所以别指望第二天还能免费使用。另外，使用前面提到的健身房也需要付费。抛开服务员的不便和额外费用不谈，如果我们再次来到固安，我肯定还会选择住在这里，也许我们会选择冬天再来，因为那时泡温泉会更舒服。
