Despite giving Jindu Hotel a 4-star overall rating in my review, I have mixed feelings about it. Firstly, the hotel is in a very central location. The street in front of it is the city's main road, and right behind it, there's a traffic-free shopping street. McDonald's, KFC, Pizza Hut, and many local restaurants and cafes are within a 1-2 minute walking distance. There's a 24/7 open Lawson Station right across the street, serving as both a market and fast food. In short, the location is 5 stars. However, the rooms, in my opinion, are 4 stars. They are spacious, well-ventilated, offer a nice city view, and come with a work desk and a lounge chair. Now, onto the downsides: The beds are very wide but too firm. Despite liking firm beds, I found them somewhat uncomfortable. There is no safety box in the rooms (at least in the room I stayed in). And perhaps most importantly, there is no minibar or fridge in the room. Finally, the service: I gave it 2 stars. If you arrive at the hotel at night, you need to wake someone sleeping on a portable bed at the reception. English is very limited or nonexistent. They won't let you check in without a local person with you. They ask you to wake up a local person at 4 am and bring them to the hotel. Generating a bill can take up to an hour, and I found myself behind the desk, having to create my own invoice. Housekeeping can forget to replenish some missing items. Despite not having a fridge in the room, they don't provide ice service. If it weren't for the excellent location and free parking in the central area, I probably wouldn't consider staying again for the 2nd time.

The room is big. Some good views. The air conditioner is powerful and makes the room cold. Also has drinks you can take in the room and pay when you leave. The service was friendly and helpful too.

Buena localización. El hotel está localizado a partir del séptimo piso de un edificio, siendo los pisos inferiores de oficinas. Las habitaciones son amplias de moqueta, pero de limpieza van justas. Además son bastante ruidosas y se podía escuchar con bastante nitidez las habitaciones contiguas. El buffet del desayuno es plenamente oriental. Ni tan siquiera tenían café.
