We stayed here in two rooms with our two children. The main rooms appear clean however the bathroom has cockroaches. The reception staff have no English so that makes things difficult, however when they realised we had not booked the right sort of rooms for the family they did help us into better rooms for only a small extra charge. Sleeping was difficult as you could here all the noise from the adjoining rooms. We had a crying child carry on for a couple of hours in a room close to us which kept us awake for a while. The location was fine but not really close to any of the tourist sites out this way. As a tourist would not stay here again.

The hotel is located in the center of the city; however it was quiet. It is close to shopping, transportation and local restaurants. The design of our room was good and very comfortable. The internet was adequate. There was no fridge, but in January, the window ledge worked just fine for a substitute. The staff didn't speak much English but were friendly.||We would stay here again.

Hotel belongs to China hotel chain.||Hotel located at business centre, floors from 5 to 8. Reception is on 5th floor. ||On floors 1-4 is shopping mall. Next building is another shopping mall with TESCO. Big choice of cafes. Night club is opposite. Ticket office (including railway) is between entrances to the hotel (only 5Y surcharge).||I’ve booked room through one of booking service. At reception girls were unable to find reservation. After 30 minutes their conversation with back office they proposed me a room and requested deposit in amount of full accommodation + 450Y. I had booked room for 36USD (200Y including service fee) and I found this room too small for 2 guests for a week. I changed room to bigger one. 250Y including service fee).||Room equipped with bed 2*1,8; desk; wide windowsill; 3 pegs instead of wardrobe; chair; 2*bedside table; Cattle + 2 caps; mosquitoes fumigator; air condition, LAN cable with free internet; hair drier; Flat TV with Chinese TV; 2*sleepers . ||Mosquito screens on a windows. Laminated material covers floor.||No refrigerator, No deposit box. Towels are changed daily. Iron is under request.||||2*0.5l of water, 2 bags of green tea, fumigators slice; shampoo + shower gel are for free.||No breakfast.||||The bed is very tough (very comfortable for me). Cleaning is so-so. I bought sponge with detergent to clean some surfaces. There is a noise from outside from 6AM (car horns). Earplugs are helpful. Bed lining, towels are like new white and without halls. No smelling.||Hotel staff is helpful despite the poor English. I recommend using Google Translate. (there is the PC connected to Internet at reception area). ||||I with wife was booked this hotel to go to a beach for a week and we are fully satisfied with our choice. QinHuanDao is cheaper that Beidahe, Beach opposite Safari (Wildlife) park is more comfortable and cleaner that Beidahe.||||Tips:||Taxi from rairoad station is 11Y;||Hotel Entrance is marked by green steeker. (39.93290, 119.60094). Google maps have offset. See on www.openstreetmap.org. On Google Satellite maps, coordinates are (39.932862, 119.601148);||to get to the beach I recommend to take bus 34 from other side of the building, another side of the street (South-West direction). Bus is going to Beidahe along the seaside. Take off the bus at the Safari (Wildlife) park (39.85467, 119.51898). Ticket is 2Y, bus frequency is 2-3 minutes;||to get to Great Wall End (39.96925, 119.79246) take bus 25 from other side of the building, same side of the street. North-East direction. Ticket is 2Y. The same bus is going to Shanhaiguan Pass of Great Wall (40.00199, 119.75426);||Buffet restaurant (49Y including beer) is on the corner 10 meters left from the hotel entrance.||Good shopping of Chinese brands is in the area straight forward from the hotel as well as in surrounding shopping malls.

Well, room very clean, toilet shower flooding as water can't drain out faster and cool aircon.||Choose windowless room as less noisy. ||||Free network cable but no wireless wifi in room.Need go to receiption lobby to access the free wifi.||||Friendly and helpful. Free two water bottle per day. Easy to find restaurant and shopping mall.||Night life a bit dull as most shop close by 9.30pm.||||When reach 10pm, all shop close except 24hrs KFC or Macdonald. ||||Easy to go Qinhuangdao seaside by taking bus No.8 (Ba Lou). Just pay Yuan$1.||||Must go wet market if you wnat buy dry seafood. Much cheaper than Beijing or packed seafood sell at supermarket/mall.||||No more ship/tourist boat to Dalian. Only left Korea Incheon boat. TGC-Travel Guide China not update their webpage and misleading people. Only Tianjin Xigang travel to Dalian.

Really friendly staff, good location, nice clean rooms with decent bathroom. All for an excellent price.
