Some travel sites say this is a 4-star hotel, it is really a 2-star or below. Of course it is not expensive either. Don't know exactly how much we paid since it was part of a tour package, but the tour guide said it is about $35-$40 per night. Still comparing with other hotels, it is definitely below average. ||||Facility: It is in the middle of many tall apartment buildings, building looks not very old but you can tell the rooms are not maintained very well, carpet is very dirty. Rooms are very big comparing with standard rooms but with very low ceiling. Rooms are not decorated very well either, you feel you just have 4 sides of white (and some with dirty marks) walls. Rooms are with ash trays again (typical in China) so they are all smoking rooms, thus with strange smells. ||||Location: Again it is in the middle of residential areas with a lot of tall apartment buildings, and since we were traveled there in tour bus, we don't know how close/far it is to other locations. I know it is not in the middle of the city and it is far from the West Lake. Not many restaurants or shopping in the areas, there are some street food vendors at night, that's all. ||||Breakfast: The hotel offers free buffet breakfast, which is a plus, but it doesn't have a lot of choices, and it is mostly Chinese style food. The breakfast dinning room is kind dirty. ||||WIFI: It only offers free wifi in the lobby, but the connection is very slow, almost useless, so don't consider you have connection here.||||Overall the hotel is definitely below average, is not very well maintained and it needs a lot of improvements. Don't be fooled by the pictures you see in many travel sites, those might be the pictures from years ago when it was still brand new, it is a LOT older now. If the price is right for you, one night is okay.
