Kempinski Hotel Hangzhou

I had a wonderful 5-night stay at the Kempinski Hotel Hangzhou. It was my first visit to Hangzhou, and the hotel exceeded my expectations. The modern, contemporary rooms were spacious, and the breakfast and dining experience were excellent. The facilities were impressive, including a stunning pool, spa area, and a well-equipped gym. The location was ideal, with excellent all-day dining options and Westlake just a short, inexpensive taxi ride away. The service was exceptional, particularly from GM Janet, FOM Mark, and the restaurant staff. Mark guided us to many great places to visit in Hangzhou and helped us experience the local cuisine. They were professional, efficient, kind, and attentive. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely return with my family! :)

Comfy beds, air conditioning needs to be stronger. Really excellent customer service by front desk especially Mark and also the concierge service -Michael. They were extremely helpful and friendly. Great gym area, spa and indoor pool. Also close to shopping at Grand Canal and Xiaohe st

Great hotel! Not by West Lake but not far with plenty of things to do. Near the Grand Canal.|Our check-in was a pleasant experience with the assistance of assistant manager Alan who also showed us to our upgraded suite. The room had a great view and was exceptional.|Having explained to Alan the purpose of our trip, he helped us to organise a day tour including making our booking for Impression Westlake with excellent seating arrangements. |As we also had problems booking the high-speed train to Huangshan, Alan even booked and paid on his account, and we reimbursed him after. A level of service beyond our expectation even from a Kempinski Hotel. We have stayed in many Kempinski hotels throughout the world. Thank you to Alan.|We enjoyed both the huge buffet breakfast and the club lounge. It is not very often where the senior chef is helping to prepare sandwiches for guests and also looking after the needs of patrons. We really appreciate that.|We had a great stay and the staff had make this a memorable trip. Highly recommended!

I would highly recommend this hotel for leisure or business. Went there for a meeting and loved the rooms design, excellent breakfast and great meeting facilities. Lunch and coffee breaks were the best I ever had. Overall a really excellent service from the Lady in Red to the check in and check out experience. Great fitness, sadly no time to explore the huge pool and the Executive Lounge, will come back.

My stay in HangZhou was splendid thanks to the hospitality of the Kempinski staff. What struck me most about the staff was their genuine desire to help. They seemed to take pride in their work and were eager to ensure that every guest had a memorable stay. ||One of the staff, Yann, has helped me during my stays in the hotel (from booking the local rides and even showing me places to go in Hangzhou). Since I didn’t have the local app ride, Yann even paid for my expenses first before I paid him back. My family and I were very thankful that we got Yann’s hospitality and generosity. ||I have stayed in many hotels before, but the service at this hotel was truly exceptional. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I had a fantast time at this beautiful hotel next to the Grand Canal. Stayed the first 2 nights for leisure and an additional 2 nights for business and can only recommend the Kempinski for both purposes.|The Team right from the start was super helpful from the airport arrival throughout my stay till I was dropped off at the airport again.|The service in all outlets as well as in the event area was outstanding and the quality of food was of the highest quality & presentation ... excellent at all times|I would always go back to my favorite hotel in Hangzhou and I hope I will be to travel there soon again. A big Thank You to the Kempinski Hangzhou Team

Great hotel with very large rooms. Stayed for a few nights for a business trip and enjoyed the expansive buffet breakfast each morning. There isn’t a desk or great place to work in the room so I worked from the couch and tea sitting area. The gym and pool area is very nice. Would stay there again in the future for work or pleasure.
