Chenfeng Zhenpin Hotel

Paid 258 RMB per night. Didn't buy breakfast so I can't comment. I searched hotels in Old Streets but they cost more and old. Glad I found Chenfeng, very good value, new and modern with cute decoration from lobby to all corners. The check-in staff is a young lady who speaks very fast Mandarin. She's good looking, efficient and has a good customer service mind. The security male staff sits near the elevator and calls elevator for us.||||Room is large enough with face basin outside the bathroom (I like this style). Standing shower has very good and stable hot water and walls are cement, not tiles. Bottled water, bathrobes, slippers & toiletries are provided. Large bottles of high quality shower gel, shampoo and body lotion. Room number is showed by a light above head so you should look on the carpeted floor in front of each room to find your room. Electronic key card and you need the card to use the elevator.||||There was a construction going on in front of the hotel and was noisy at day time. It didn't bother me as we were out whole day.||||Located in a residential area not near West Lake but with a subway station nearby, it is not a big problem. When we arrived, we ate in a restaurant in a building almost next to hotel. Later on we walked to Renmin Square metro station to eat in restaurants inside. There're some convenience stores near the hotel.||||The check-out took a little long as there were many guests checking out at the same time.

The room was very clean, although their pillows weren't very good and their gowns were ripped. Other than that it was a great stay.
