陪客户曾经入住此4星级酒店，酒店设备和卫生非常好，但前台结账非常慢，每次都要等20-30分钟，期待以后能够及时改善！自助早餐非常丰富，性价比很高。

I stayed here for a few days to attend a conference at Xiangtan University. The hotel and the rooms were very clean. The room I was in was quite large and had all of the mod-cons. There was fast wi-fi access at no extra charge in the rooms and in the lobby. The hotel staff were very helpful and even went out of their way to help out a few conference delegates with difficulties. There is also bar serving a decent range of beverages. The breakfast buffet also provided guests with a wide selection to cater for Western and Asian tastes. One problem was that not all staff could speak English and at times staff on hand had to rush around and bring an English speaker to deal with one's queries.||||The hotel is next door to a 5 or 6 story shopping centre. The shopping centre mainly sells clothes, shoes, cosmetics and perfumes and I saw virtually all of the top brands with their own shop. There is a well-stocked supermarket in the shopping centre and this was very useful.

The room was if average size with comfortable bed. Everything was clean but the whole hotel could do with a spruce up. |Wifi is available but it is slow. |Breakfast is an extensive buffet and there were plenty of options. Staff were helpful and despite few having much English we got by with communication. |There is a small coffee shop where we enjoyed some unusual teas. |Note- we changed money at the bank next door and were surprised that two ladies followed us in and kept trying to get us to change our money through them. This is despite the bank having 2 security officers who just watched. There is a problem in China with fake 100rmb notes so beware.

The Hotel was a home away from home for four great nights. It was clean, spotless and the service very good. The staff was verey warm and helpful. There was on duty ant any one time someone who speaks English so communication was no big deal. The Hotel is opposite a shopping mall so made life very easy for late night shopping.

It's not often that one comes across a hotel chain in China that lives up to expectations. It's so often difficult to find a luxury affordable hotel based on a booking agent whose goal is to extol only the virtues. Western websites describing these hotels with a Western 'palate' are basically non-existent.||||Anyway, the Huatian Hotel Group Co Ltd is currently addressing two fundamentals: Western-written and -based websites and amenities in their hotels intended very specifically for Western guests - business, pleasure, or both.||||As I actually live in Xiangtan, this review is a 'no-brainer' as I have made it my Western 'home from home' as it's the only hotel for many miles that delivers any type of 'western promise'.||||You actually have to try other local facilities to appreciate how the Xiangtan Huatian excels. Let's look at a few specifics:||||Delivers on 5-start rating: Yes||Caters for Western tastes: Yes||Little touches like proper fresh-ground coffee and Cuban cigars: Yes (rare in Hunan)||Luxurious rooms with all the trimmings: Yes||English-aware staff: Yes||High level conferencing and business facilities: Yes||Helpful and dutiful staff: Yes||Disappointment factor: Nil||Restaurants: Multiple - and Western breakfast a real speciality.||Fully-stocked bar: Yes ( and improving weekly).||Health and fitness: You betcha||Karaoke: Yes and up-market; no riff-raff||Shopping mall: 3,000 square meters of luxury goods||||For business or pleasure at the very highest level, I recommend the Xiangtan Huatian Hotel wholeheartedly. And I'm a discerning Brit. They don't come fussier than me.

The Huatian hotel is very good hotel located in Xiangtan, Hunan Province. For the price you pay you get a very nice and big room. The hotel is located opposite of a shopping mall, which is nice to visit. Although English was a little difficult for the employees of the hotel, I enjoyed my stay a lot.
