I had a wonderful stay at the DaCheng Hotel! The location is perfect for Pedestrian Street and all the beautiful shops. getting a bit expensive now!||My partner is from Changsha so we stayed at hotel rather than at her apartment. gave her a nicce holiday as well.||The hotel was a good location, clean, friendly staff speaking fair English so i had to use my basic Chinese no problem,||I loved the night stalls which stretch for miles and miles and miles wow. amazing.||Right opposite the hotel!||Breakfast excellent both Western and Chinese. Love the Hunanese food! Especially spicy fish in boiling oil.||Hotel room rates were okay I always bargain with the staff and get a much cheaper price than what is advertised.||Next door ajoing the hotel is a lovely huge restaraunt worth visiting. babnks are close, massage parlours close and lots of western take aways for those who miss their KFC etc.||I definitely recommend the DaCheng to everyone.||Enjioy||Alan, Melbourne

For about $30 a night I got a suite. The hallways look luxury and the carpets seems to be new. The facility looks clean. The rooms looks a bit dated but it is very spacious. ||||The suite has a living room with 3 coaches and nice looking furniture. The living room also has a guest restroom. ||||The bedroom has a love seat and a king bed. It has a PC monitor and a TV that we were not sure how to use. The master bathroom looks clean but the shower needs some update. The water will leak and make the entire floor wet. The towels look clean but were wore out. The bathroom has a shower and a bathtub. ||||The suite is a smoker's suite and it has a strong cigarette smell. It is also odd to see condoms for purchase placed in the nightstand. The A/C needs to be checked since regardless of setting, it stays at 26 C.||||Overall, I had a good rest and the room was spacious and fairly clean but is not a 5 star luxury hotel. I will say it is more like a 3.5 star hotel.

干净卫生，洗浴用品等免费提供的，不像网友评价的那样样样收费，而且很赞的是，前台给我免费从高级双床房升级到豪华双床房，晚上还给我们送了果盘。电视没有香港台比较失望，不过地段很方便，位于商业中心，周围很多百货之类的，交通也是比较方便的，隔音方面还好吧，也没有觉得特别嘈，服务方面就也还行，没有网友说的恶劣，也许是运气比较好吧。早餐我还想赞一个，种类不是特别多，但味道都挺好的，就是面包不知道是没做好还是不新鲜，拿到手就碎掉了。总的来说，住大成都还是不错的，如果价格再优惠点就更好了，因为洗手间方面陈设就看得出来，很明显，装潢旧了点了！

- Excellent location. Walking distance to pedestrian mall || and commercial district.||- Fast wifi connections in the room.||- Good service. Hotel staff are eager to help.||- Room is reasonably clean and tidy.||- Bed is comfortable. Slept well.||- Easy to flag a taxi at Wuyi Avenue.||||Opportunity for improvement: Environment and Quality of food & drinks at breakfast buffet can be better. For example, fruit juice are diluted with water and sweetened with sugar. Dining room is not well ventilated and looks run down. Chefs with dirty aprons.

My (USA) first trip to China so I have no comparison base line, but I was not impressed. Good price. Hotel itself was clean but room carpet has lots of spots. They only give you half rolls of toilet paper, and no more, each day. The concierge was not very helpful. The room safe is on closet floor so us older people can't get down to use it. The refrigerator is only for looks, none of them really work, they will not get your beer cold or even close to cold. The beds are very very hard. No air conditioning, so room was very hot, even though it's January and very cold outside. Food was good, but don't be late, things will run out. All-in-all, it was okay for the money.

酒店的配置还是比较不错，布置和装修都还是比较不错的，电视和空调都还是比较不错的，还有网线，电视是液晶电视。性价比还可以，位置还是比较不错的，比较繁华，交通也很便利。服务做的也很好，房间的质量和舒适度也还是比较不错的。装修还是比较大方的那种，比较温馨。早上提供免费的早餐，停车也比较方便，有免费的车位。

预订的标双，到了之后被告知已无房，而后免费升级至行政双人房，这让人挺受宠若惊的。|酒店的地理位置还算可以，距离黄兴步行街也就步行10分钟的距离，距离火车站和汽车站也就车程5分钟的样子，但缺点便是周边环境有点差。|另外就是酒店一楼的餐厅味道欠佳，价格偏贵，上菜速度慢，有待改善的说~

位于长沙市中心的五一广场，吃喝购物走路就可以到，非常方便。房间不错，就是花洒水很小，冲凉没有很舒服。网速很给力，上网看视频一点都不卡。早餐不错，样式挺多的。退房时间等待很久，要查这查那，国外把房卡一交就可以了，国内就不一样。
