Hard Rock Hotel Dalian

This is the second hotel of the Hard Rock Hotel brand in China. The hotel's location, staff service, and hardware design are unrivaled and unique in China, perfectly illustrating the collision of Hard Rock culture and the vast Eastern philosophy. The hotel rooms are comfortable and spacious, with a view of the sea. The staff provide excellent service, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of flavors. Overall, the experience is highly satisfactory. I am looking forward to returning to the hotel again.

这是硬石酒店品牌在中国的第二家酒店。酒店的地理位置、员工服务、硬件设计在国内都是无与伦比、独一无二的，完美诠释了硬石文化与浩瀚东方哲学的碰撞。酒店客房舒适宽敞，可欣赏海景。工作人员提供优质的服务，早餐提供多种口味。总体而言，这次体验非常令人满意。我期待着再次回到酒店。

Nice trendy fresh energetic hotel to stay at, musical punk and cool place to unwind, across the beach with room ocean view! Strongly recommend!

Pleasant hotel with a good outdoor seating. The bathroom was spacious and shower and toilet are distinctly separated. Breakfast is decent but could be better. They offer meals for lunch and dinner which are fairly priced. The sliders I ordered were only 60-80rmb and they tasted yum! The hotel is nicely located at the beach front and is less crowded during the holiday, but our king sized room was in front of three trees that were blocking the view of the ocean. Other than that it was a cool experience.

Recommend to stay, good place for relax. Service is excellent. The staffs are very helpful. Kid playground is clean. Swimming pool is close to the room with good view to see the sea.just walk around 5 minutes you can reach the beach. The breakfast time is enough to eat the meal. Music inside the hotel is wonderful. Upgraded room is minimal charge with check-out late. My wife & kid were so happy & asking to be back.

推荐入住，休闲的好地方。服务非常好。工作人员非常乐于助人。儿童游乐场很干净。游泳池离房间很近，可以看到大海，步行5分钟左右就可以到达海滩。早餐时间足够吃饱饭了。酒店内的音乐很棒。升级客房需支付最低费用且延迟退房。我的妻子和孩子非常高兴并要求回来。

It is difficult to review this hotel without talking about the pros and the cons of the location. As a beach resort the location, it is still struggling to recover from the Covid lull and many of the attractions are being refurbished this year in preparation for a hopeful end of season, but more realistically 2024.The landscape is beautiful and worth the visit and the hotel itself was clean, professional, excellently staffed and a joy to stay at. The food was above average and we particularly enjoyed the breakfasts.I would stay here again if I wanted some quiet time to relax on my own, or if I had a family that needed lots of differnet activities to keep the little ones happy.

I was very happy with the cost, location, cleanliness, service and value. I was helped on arrival and checkout by Victory (English name) she was fantastic, very friendly and efficient with good English skills. Victory also sold me on purchasing the breakfast which I had not planned to do. The front desk manager was also friendly and upgraded my booking to a suite with a sea view, she then also gave me excellent information about the local area and things to do. As it was Chinese New Year most shops were closed and the beaches were very cold. I was impressed with the personal touches like a dessert tray delivered to my room, a personalized call to watch the live entertainment in the bar and updated personalized information on the TV. I followed the recommendation to watch the live entertainment and was happy with the price of drinks in the bar, once again the service in the bar was good. Some small annoyances were the fact that my keycard needed to be recoded, the shower water pressure was low and the soap dispensers in the shower were irritating. The room was clean and odor free, the linen and towels felt new and everything seemed well maintained, overall great value for money. The breakfast was a reasonable balance between western and Chinese food and a pretty good variety considering how few guests were staying in the hotel, the service here was also very good. I was impressed by the well selected gym equipment (free weights, cardio, stretching and machines) and loved the new technology on the treadmills, I wish there was a water dispenser in the gym or that the refrigerator had anything inside (apparently this is a COVID precaution). The indoor pool was clean but the staff only appeared for a short time after I swam and I had to hunt around to find a towel (this too is apparently a COVID precaution). I checked out late and once again had the pleasure of speaking to Victory, she was great. I really enjoyed my stay at Hard Rock Hotel Dalian. I orignally posted this review on Agoda and was contacted by the hotel HR staff to ask if I could post the same review on travel advisor, I felt good about my stay so I have no problem posting my review again.

Our best hotel experience!! Amazing service, fantastic rooms, awesome food and rock n’ roll!!|David, the general manager and all his team are unique. They give us the feeling to be more than only guests of the hotel.|The room was amazing! Comfortable and clean with a nice balcony with ocean view. |Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner were always delicious. It doesn’t care if you like more the western or Chinese style because they are offering a lot of tasty meals for each taste.|The weekend buffet is one of the best buffets that we have joined!!|The swimming pool is also really nice! Everything is clean and the water temperature is perfect!!|We went to Dalian only with the expectation to spend some days there and went back with a fantastic experience and already looking forward to repeat it again!!

We arrived to the hotel late, as our flight was delayed- around 11:45pm. We were checked in quickly. We inquired about food from room service and restaurants, but everything was closed. Upon entering the room, I saw that the room was VERY dirty and in need of some repair. There was hair everywhere, the floor was very dirty, the shower door had a piece of the ***** hanging off. There was water damage to the floor and walls in the restroom and rocks from the beach were on the floor. I immediately returned to the front desk to get a new room. The hotel room was over ¥1000per night. There should be no cleanliness issues. The front desk agent handled the situation well. She apologized, got a new room and went to check the room before we entered. The new room was clean but you can tell it was an older room. From the room balcony, there was a view of Discoveryland. Breakfast was good. A mix of Western and Chinese. There is a pool on the second floor. The beach is across the street but it’s dirty and there are a lot of rocks. Lastly, all of the food services, restaurants, bar, bbq, and room service and at 9pm. I have never heard of this from a 5 star hotel. The bar closes at 11pm. I would not rate this a 5 star hotel. I have been to another Hard Rock location, but I would not return to this Hard Rock Hotel location again. The price does not reflect the amenities or value.
